Why are people so dissapointed with Maidana?

He honestly didn't look that bad. He clearly lost the fight, but in all honesty I was impressed with the skills he displayed. I think Garcia is continuing to make improvement on him and I believe he should get another shot at Alexander or Khan.

I think the way he employed the jab was a nice touch. Garcia and Maidana knew mayweather would train himself to move more around the ring so they couldn't use the plan they used the first fight. So they tried to box more and Chino didn't look too horrible doing it. Not saying we should be impressed but we should at least see that Chino actually improved as a fighter between the last fight, just Mayweather's strategy negated seeing the results.

i never thought that Maidana was that good, in the first place , he got the fight because he beat Broner.

    Pacquaio and Bradley beat Floyd.

Nah. Maidana is a 6 round fighter. He should have given all in the first 6 rounds. If he survived after 6, he should have accepted he will get knocked out.

Bad coaching. You cannot box Floyd. You should mess up his rhythm. That's the only way. Maidana won more rounds in the fist fight when he was reckless.

The biting, the lethargy and lack of any spark, the c0ckiness and lackadaisical attitude post fight.

    Dude didn't care.
