Boxing is a noble sport, so when someone comes in who doesnt take the sport seriously gets given a free ride and is so arrogant that they believe their own hype its a sense of justice when a hard working fighter like Marcos Maidana leaves no doubt as to who won the fight. Youve heard taking it out of the judges hands but Maidana took the fight out of the referee's hands, terrbile and biased officiating in favour of Broner. Deducting a point from Maidana from trying to break free from a clinch and not deducting a single point from Broner throughout the entire fight for pushing, sticking his hands and elbows in maidanas face and complete unsportsman like behaviour (which was hilariously returned in favour in the 11th round if i remember) Well done to Maidana and as for Broner he should stick to fighting guys he has a distinct size advantage over if he wants to keep winning. 140 is too tough a weight class for him also with the likes of Peterson, Mathysse, Garcia . . . hell even Zab Judah would stand a chance of beating him.
Watch all his episodes of About Billions and you'll see why he is hated. The boy is a moron. I refuse to call him a man because he isn't one.
I don't waste my hate for peoples i don't even know. But, since you asked, i'd bet you absolutely love him, don't you?
He needs to learn a bit of respect and humility , i dont hate the child i just feel he needs to grow up stop acting like a prat, cut the crap and get on with the boxing.
futuer cherry picking avoided. now broner will try keep proving himseld everytime he steps in the ring.
On ESB it's about 70% racism and 30% people who are dumb enough to not see the terrific marketing through Broner's trash talk and get offended way too easily. Personally, I'm disappointed by his performance (I'm the only one who voted for that apparently). He looked so poor on so many levels. He wasn't just outhustled by brawler, he got fucking outboxed too. There were so many flaws in his game, it was eye opening. There was always a chance Maidana could win this, as I think this was terrific and exciting matchmaking from the day it was announced, but this was a bit too lopsided for me to shrug it of as an off night. Shit wasn't even close.
What bothers me about him is people comparing him to Floyd. His defense is nothing close to Floyd's. He showed some real heart this weekend and I am more of a fan of his now. Maybe he will learn from this loss and start taking boxing more serious. He has the skill to be great but lacks the dedication.
Broner anointed himself among the best, when a lot of boxing fans knew he was clearly nowhere near the elite level. Only his supporters believed he was among the best and bought into his talk and his hype. All the holes that were exposed on Saturday night were always there and a handful of us on the boards were always pointing it out. Maidana was supposed to be tailor made for Broner to shine. Seeing the douche bag knocked off his high horse is what is so gratifying about this win. It was a statement for the real fans of boxing. You can't mouth your way to the top. You got to put in hard work and dedication, something Broner did not absorb from Mayweather.
Honestly, his arrogance "inside the ring" really bothered me. I'm glad he got his jaw broken. That's what he gets for trying to fight and talk **** at the same time. I can forgive a lot outside the ring, and I do not expect athletes to be role models. That being said: a champion should conduct himself professionally inside the ring. Broner seems to think he needs to put on a comedy show while he fights. I'd also like to see a referee give him a warning for turning his back as well if he tries that **** again. "If you do that again, you forfeit."
There is no "all of the above option" thats what I would pick. Seriously how can any one ask why everyone is so happy to see AB loose. Dude is a complete douchbag, shows no respect for others & is a idiot. I dont mind the stupid pics or his dumb videos. But it gets under my skin when he disrespects other boxers. I hate when they ask him about another boxer & his response is " who , O you mean the guy who lost" or when Robert Guerrero was trying to call him out & his reponse was "I still got my 0". He disrespected & trash talked boxers who have lost as if thats something to be ashamed about. If any one who has ever boxed you know how much work & effort you put in & how hard it is to accept defeat after all the work put in. Any one who steps into a ring win or loose diserve respect & recognition. AB is a tool, he can no longer seperate himself from the rest. He can no longer say he is undefeated. Overrated fighter who talked like he was better then floyd. It was awsome to see him beat up around the ring, its as if the bully at school got beat up. Just beauty.
