Why are people still saying Bute got KO'd against Andrade?

I don't care if Andrade sent an exhausted Bute into the stands and won by knock out. Bute set the record straight in the rematch.

In the first fight Bute didn't look like he could defend himself in which the fight should have been stopped imo. Bute comes back and knocks andrade the **** out!

You should read all the posts before writing the same false statements than many other posters. You would look less dumb.

The rule says helplessly supported by the ropes. That was not the case.

If that would have been an excuse Bute wouldn`t have won so clear the second match.

    Matter of opinion.
And if it was, controversy would still be there. Just different. We all know the famous example.

    Theres that.

I will not start another big explanation about all this drama. I have my opinion, others (50% of the poll) have another. What is really surprising, is the number of people after all this time that are scandalize about all this. Furthermore, when you see it in the big picture, I really dont understand it.

From almost everyone on this site:
1- We cant use a triangle of fights to decide who's gonna win between two fighters. Exemple: Kessler have beaten Andrade in a better fashion than the first Bute / Andrade fight, so Kessler beats Bute.
2- The big 0 is overrated and the best fighters out there dont care about the loss.
3- Bute owed Andrade a rematch. he did and he won without doubt.

The fact is we dont know what would have been better. But Bute learned from this experience and he is a better fighter from it. Sometimes you got KD or you loose and you lost your mojjo, sometimes you grow and learn from it. Bute learned from it.

You should all be happy that a good boxer got better, you should all be happy of the drama and of the rematch it was very entertaining.

Yeah ok fanboy! Bute was poisoned, he shouldn't have fought..... isn't an excuse for getting put on ***** street and falling all over the ring.

You Butards keep pointing to the rematch, it's an entirely separate fight, it doesn't change the first one, which Bute was KO'd :patsch

So why waste all this time pointing out the same **** every time there's a Bute thread ?

As a Klitschko fan boy, you should be the first to show respect for fighters that get put on ***** street or hang on for dear life...and sometimes for punches that only seem to graze their chin...:hey

Who gives a **** about this so called controversy, Bute clarified any lingering doubts in the rematch, emphatically. That's why the rematch took place - because of the 12th round - Bute was schooling Andrade every which way from round 1 through 11. Had Bute been TKO'd by the ref, the same rematch would have taken place anyway. And no ****, he's gonna fight in Quebec, where people actually still love boxing and support their own. In this 2 fight series Bute showed that he's head and shoulders above guys like Andrade and is likely an elite fighter or at least deserves a chance to prove so against elite comp.

That's what's the problem with the arguments haters like you propose. Bute didn't have to continue because the round and the fight were over.

You would be right if the title matchs were still for 15 rounds. It is written nowhere in the IBF rules that you need to be in shape to continue after the last round.

There is only one reason and it's the logical one: making more money in Montreal selling tickets. That's why Dawson and Hopkins came here to fight Pascal who sells less tickets than Bute.
