This is really starting to get on my nerves! Anyone with a two eyes connected to a functioning brain who watched the fight can clearly see that Vitali GRAZED solis with a right and a couple seconds later solis stepped back, shifted his weight wrong and his knee gave out. End of story. Why the hometown ref started counting? I don't know. Why it was ruled a KO? I have no clue. Why everybody including the writers on ESB are still saying that he was put down by a punch? I don't know. Excuse my rant but this is getting ridiculous.atsch
I just posted a thread saying it looked like he landed wrong after throwing his right hand. I think it should be a KO though as it's his own fault that he doesn't know how to properly throw a punch.
It appeared to me that Solis's knee became disjointed as he was attempting to bob and jab his way in. As he came within reach of the KLIT girl you see his knee twist a second before Vitali even throws the punch. The punch landed as Solis was attempt to readjust his stance to correct his knee. I doubt at that point in time Solis truly understood his knee was torn to ****. These Russians claiming the injury was caused by that weak ass punch are on Vodka and Meth. Pay no attention to them because as is clear, they know **** about boxing or any other sport with the exception of soccer and horse-shoes.
It's actually not all that ridiculous...It's a very hazy line in this situation due to the fact that the punch landed...PERIOD.. Grazing or not doesn't matter...what matter is that you call a KD when any legal punch lands on your opponent and as a result they go down. It also doesn't matter if they were off balanced or looking at the ref or simply tripped after a punch landed. Solis went down AFTER the shot landed. The hazy element comes into play figuring out when solis actually hurt his knee....was it after the punch landed or before. If it's after the punch landed and solis ended up hurting himself to the point where the end result was hitting the canvas then it's clearly a legit KO....if he injured it before then the legitimacy of the KO could be question with some validity.
Regardless of whether the injury was caused by the punch or not, if your legs break on you then it's your own fault and you rightfully lose. Had Solis been properly conditioned, the likelihood of that injury happening would have been way reduced.
Because he was. One temple shot from klit + paper jaw of solis= legs turn into jelly. Falls and breaks the leg whilst walking through ***** street where vitalin put him. Deal with it. Sponge bob got ****ing squashed.
solis did the two step right after that shot connected, solis wouldn't have went down if he didn't get hit and he wouldn't have hurt his knee if he didn't go down. Legit stoppage end of story.
its a legit TKO REGARDLESS I agree that he was certainly not KOed by the punch of course not but the fact is that Vitali didnt accidently hurt him like a butt or something , it doesnt need to go to the 4th round or anything even if Solis just fell on his face as soon as he came out its a TKO cause he cant go on or quits for whatever reason BAR an accident foul
Any anyone with vision can see.... Solis' LEFT leg was also turned into Jello. It was a knockout. You don't have to be unconscious. His legs. BOTH of them were still completely gone after they stopped the fight. As I said over and over again... injuring your right knee doesn't turn your left leg into jello. That punch put him completely out of it. I am sure that he hurt his right knee as well... that's simply because he had no control of his legs. Wladimir knocked out Eddie Chambers with a very similar punch.
