Say Chavez does win vs Maravilla, Arum would never let it happen

He knows Ward would beat this kid to pulps.

    2. If it doesn't happen in Oakland, it ain't happening

    3. Arum would make excuses saying Chavez needs a couple fights at 168 first (5 fights) at least

    4. Ward would be reluctant to fight Chavez because of Chavez'a history of PEDs and glove weighing

Chavez isn't going to 168. That division is probably the deepest in boxing and Baby Chavez wouldn't have his usual advantage in size.

The best thing that can happen for Baby Chavez on Saturday is that he beats Martinez then starts calling out the big names @ 154.

    168 ain't happening...

Guess you missed the video where Ward said he would like to face Chavez?

I believe, of course, it was in the context of "if Chavez beats Sergio".

people were saying Arum would never let Chavez vs Martinez happen so this is the same old song and dance.

Arum has proven time and again he is willing to put his fighters to the test.

Beat him to pulps? Don't think. He'd beat Chavez Jr easy but not to pulps..

    1. We like to speculate about future fights.
    2. Ward is a top 5 (at least ) P4er, and Chavez is very popular
    3. If Chavez beats Martinez he moves in to the top 10 P4P.
    4. Chavez is known to have weight issues
    5. Out side or Andre Direll who's there for Ward at 168?

plus....i highly doubt that someone that clinches a lot like ward would look great against a great pressure fighter like jr.....
