For example, what does Arum have to do with Floyd wanting Pac to take his special tests and Pac telling him to **** off. Nothing. He's not whispering into Floyd's ear "have USADA do the tests" and he's not telling Pac "tell everyone you don't like giving blood"

You're looking at it too literally. It wasn't meant to imply a direct analogue of the styles in each match-up.

It's a perfect comparison in terms of:

- gulf in class.
- a highly skilled boxer against a big strong dude coming at him willingly eating whatever is thrown his way.
- the stronger guy having his offense completely taken away (except Ward will use different tactics than PBF did)
- the end result.
