I'm hearing loma has only fought 1 legit fighter and lost, so you're saying gary is not legit?

After what gary just did to gonzalez he is a top 3 feather weight in my opinion. I rank him higher than selby, higher than walters, maybe equal to leo santa cruz.

Stop throwing him under the bus because he lost against lomachenko. It's like GGG, once he beats your guy you throw the guy under the bus and call him a bum. Its bull****.

it's hilarious, every time a special fighter outclasses a solid one, they suddenly become bums

Gary was a quality win for anyone in this sport let alone someone with only a handful of pro fight under his belt. I get it......some are upset because of all the hype Lomachenko received based on one of the best amateur careers in the history of the sport.....and even more heated the kid got opportunities to fight for a title so early in his pro career.

However, this all could have gone completely wrong for taking the kinds of risks Lomachenko took because they threw him right to the wolves fresh out the gate.

If he got knocked out or lost convincingly or just couldn't adapt to the pro level the hype this kid had coming in would have fizzled out immediately.

That's why most top or blue chip young fighters end up facing guys with losing records or a very limited amount of fights when they begin establishing a professional career.

Everyone is so hard on Lomo based on what? What would your outlook be if Lomachenko's first five opponents were the same 5 that Floyd Mayweather started his pro career with? It's really silly to read some of these posts about the opponents this kid has faced thus far in his career.

How much venom would some of you have if this was Lomachenko's first 5 opponents? Based on what the response has been I would say the response wouldn't be much better.
