Poor diet well into early adulthood leads to weak bone structure. Don't forget Poland is pretty **** poor compared to other European countries, even some of the Eastern bloc's that were Soviet.

What do you say about blacks during their late 70's to mid 90's dominance? Well, things were getting way better and let's not forget that blacks were historically fed terrible stuff, but it was good for nutrition and bone structure- on purpose to keep them fat and strong so they can work the fields.
