Why are pro boxers never using speedbag-gloves on the speedbag?

I come across these specialized gloves often when looking on the web for gloves, yet in videos of pro's working the speedbag they never use them. Most of the time they only use handwraps.

Does anyone know why this is?

Maybe there's someone on esb who used/uses these gloves that can say if they suck or something and that's the reason they are not used?
