Why are promoters so slow to make heavyweight fights this year?

We are now well into March, and there are only two fights involving top 50 heavyweights scheduled, Fury-Whyte and Bakole-Yoka.

    https://boxrec.com/en/ratings?r[role]=proboxer&r[sex]=M&r[division]=Heavyweight&r[country]=&r[stance]=&r[status]=a&r_go=

What's wrong with the promoters and managers? COVID restrictions are no longer an impediment.

Fans will lose interest if there are few upcoming fights to talk about.

Fighters that should be scheduled by now:

    Robert Helenius
    Hughie Fury
    Agit Kabayel
    Efe Ajagba
    Vladyslav Sirenko
    Sergey Kuzmin
    Trevor Bryan
    Daniel Dubois
    Otto Wallin
    Ali Eren Demirezen
    Joe Joyce
    Andy Ruiz
    Michael Hunter
    Zhilei Zhang
    Filip Hrgovic

I think I am beginning to lose interest in many of these matchups and this division, which I never thought in my life would get too.

besides ones such as Ruiz-Wilder and of course Fury-Usyk (which is far from happening).

It's a transitional period for the division. Most of the top 10 are battle hardened and either on the way out or being extremely selective, fighting maybe once every 8 months. There need to be some young contenders to emerge.

They wait for the cash cows of divison. Once AJ confirmed his may/ June opponent expect others to follow shortly confirming their fights.

How many fights have the top 50 heavyweights been so far in 2022.?
I don't like the phenomenon in boxing at all that a champion (or top 10 boxer) doesn't have a fight (zero fight) during a calendar year.
GGG is an example for 2021. There are many more examples, ...

Purse bid on March 14, and hopefully King will figure this is better off happening in the UK.
