Why are some of the more talented heavyweights so poorly managed?

Glazkov had 6 fights cancelled, indluding Ahunya and Al Cole.

Frustrating.

 

It often frustrating for journeymen like Beck, Cole, Ahunanya to take these fights for short money no long term contracts. Guys like Wilson aren't necessarily "signed" fighters, but they get their share of work often enough to make it seem so and they seem to adequate notice for thier fights.

Ahunanya got about a weeks notice. Cole.......12 days I think.
It's nearly ridiculous IMO for these up n coming fighters to target a certain guy and then spring the fight on them 12 days prior to the fight. These guys aint champions who are gym rats and have dietitians on thier payroll. Many of them work fulltime jobs to stay afloat and get out of shape between fights.

We'd see some of these younger HW's exposed if they gave these guys notice. Look at how well Harold Sconiers just did with proper training.

Ahunanya is always a potential upset. Same goes for Saliffe. But as it stands, they'll be given a week and then called, and some will take the fight and get blasted out, while others will see the sly dealings and back out.

Glaskovs camp just aint calling out the right journeymen.:deal

 

As to the TS.......none of the young HW's wants to be exposed. Boystov for instance has GBP working for him on US soil, but won't take el Nino Rodriguez calls.
I'm sure DLH would love to make that fight, but Sauerland or Denis himself won't have it.

Same goes for Wilder, Fury, and many others. Why risk a loss vs a fringe contender when they could fight guys they have serious advantage over and maintain their rankings and improve their records.:deal

Some guys like Dimitrenko and Sexton for instance have already had Ls. As have Leapei and many other top 50 HW's.
Hell, Rahman has about 7 or 8, yet he won't step up his LOC, nor will Arreola. Yet supposedly both are legit challengers for Sasha, and if Rahman was to somehow KO him, he'd likely get Vitali. So in essence, he's one punch away from another million plus payday, and Arreola, fighting similar C class fighters could damned near walk right over Mormeck for next months shot vs Wlad.:rofl

 

Obviously all hope is lost for that division and there's no excitement for it anymore either. After Haye vs Klitschko, I don't see any fight worth waiting for.

 

Bermane Stiverne is also not fighting nearly enough. 3 fights in 2010 and 2011 ? I think he'll soon be a mendatory for Vitali, tough... Say what you want about him, but the man can bang ! Nice Kayos against Manswell and Austin and didn't he hurt Helenius and Price in the amateurs ?

 

Its ok. Yup, Universum in Europe, GBP over in the US. Chagaev, Maidana and Chakiev are also promoted in the US by GBP, but only the last two seems to get fights there :think Actually, im not sure if Maidana still got any ties to Universum.

Man there is definitely promising fights to be made. damn good fights to be potentially to give us those just does not include either Klitschkos.

If they just could get these young guys fighting each other like in old days...
