Why are some people acting as if Shawn Porter is some sort of KO artist?

Following on from Porter's win over tailor made, shot, feather fisted Paulie Malignaggi, there seems to be a lot of you who think he some sort of KO artist who would overpower, overwhelm and stop anyone and everyone around him.

-Following the Pacquiao v Bradley fight "Porter would've stopped either fighter" atsch
- Following the Mayweather fight "Porter would overwhelmed Mayweather to a stoppage" atsch
- Following the Marquez fight last night "At this stage I think Marquez, would be KO'd by Porter". atsch

Let's look at Porter's recent KO's, shall we, yes he stopped Malignaggi- whoop-de-doo. He's been stopped 3 times already, but before that, when was the last time he stopped someone?

- Was it in Dec 13 against Devon Alexander...Nope
- Was it in Sep 13 against Julio Diaz...Nope
- Was it in May 13 against Phil Lo Greco...Nope
- Was it in Dec 12 against Julio Diaz...Nope (and in fact, he didn't even win!)
- Was it in July 12 against Alfonso Gomez...Nope


It was in April '12 over 2 years ago against 18-17-1 bum Patrick Thompson.

So you are telling me this guy, with a 60% KO rating, is going to become the first man to stop grizzled veteran Juan Manuel Marquez?

You people need to watch more boxing. Do you not think Marquez's counter punching, accuracy, combinations, ability to make adjustments and skills of recovery are not going to be enough to overcome to amateurish bum rusher Porter? :rofl

And yes, I am aware that Porter has taken on a new drug coach, but as Rios proved against Pacquiao, drugs are not enough to overcome such a gulf in talent levels.
