Why are the higher weight divisions more populated with Eastern Euros at the top?

It's not up to me to decide whether Messi cheated or not. My point is twofold:

    1. He did it
    2. It works

Bryce Harper is another guy who got growth hormones when he was a kid. How's that working out for him.

Yes, fighters from all over the world, INCLUDING AFRICAN-AMERICANS are steroid cheats. The difference is that they do not have the state-sanctioned programs making specialized chemical routines for them while they are still growing. Once again, Americans do not get state support. Their nutrition, training, supplements, travel, scheduling, etc. are strictly up to them, and their families, and this is the big difference as to why Ex-Soviets are doing so well right now.

He's talking about overall body size as well. Do you have a Wikipedia page to prove or disprove EE burliness?

height and weight are highly related.

Is Provodnikov "burly"? I suppose he is. He's pretty short too. But then Viktor Postol isn't so "burly".

Kovalev, not all that burly. He's kind of "lanky".

Lol, people who think that EEs are these massive guys or whatever obviously don't know wtf they are talking about :D

    Only on this forum.

I mean of course, an averge eastern euro is bigger than an average Japanese or Thai guy but that pretty much goes for any country in Europe or even North America...

    :patsch

You already wrote this prior, and I refuted you. Writing this a second time is not going to make it any more true. Eastern Europeans do NOT have state sponsored doping programs, they DO NOT. This is probably the most deluded perspective I have ever heard :-( It is entirely up to the Eastern Euro how he trains and what he takes in :deal

:yep The only nation that has ever FORCED its athletes to follow government doping protocols was East Germany, and that nation no LONGER exists.

It's got nothing to do with genes; otherwise an old African-American Lennox Lewis would not have been able to beat a prime Vitali Klitschko.

It's because of training and dieting, US H.W's currently are awful.

Bro, this is a very complicated subject, I'm not a scientist, but I am an ex-L.A personal trainer, so I know a few things, and I'll answer the questions quickly.

    1. No, Messi's agility and slickness were God given, in addition to a lot of hard work, but if he's 4'7 110 lbs. what difference would it have made? he can't score a header, he's not strong enough to drill the ball through traffic, and nobody would give him a chance anyway, because A MIDGET WOULDNT PASS THE EYETEST.

No some of Maradona's niftiness is caused by his being closer to the ground, but again, he was 5'6 not 4'6.

The PED boxers you mentioned were not 4'2 because, again THEY STARTED JUICING AFTER their growth spurts were over, in other words AS ADULTS.

No, a bum does not turn into a world champion on HGH, but everyone goes up a level. The borderline player turns good, the good player turns great, the great player turns hall of fame.

Barry Bonds was a great baseball player at 180 lbs. at 230 lbs. he is the best of all time, get it.

As I said earlier, the Soviets identifity the best fighters early put them in special schools, train them all day long on fighting, for 10 or 12 years, put them through ridiculous competition against each other AND chemically enhance them.

One goes hand in hand with the other.
