i know you guys have noticed this influx in southpaws and it seems like majority of these top amateurs and top prospects are southpaws. Is fighting southpaw better? I'm right handed but I feel more comfortable fighting southpaw, why is that. Discuss.

It's just so awkward. Its literally "un-orthadox", shots come from different angles & feet get in a tangle. Gives a a light advantage in a lot of fights
More and more children are being born as lefties now than before. The world is still right hand dominate but the lefties are growing.
Parents now stop "correcting" lefties in early childhood. In the 50s and 60s it was rumoured to be a source of mental illness. Our kids' granny still told us to make sure our little one stops using the left hand to eat because it can "make the child stupd". Of course that's a bunch of BS but people used to believe that in the old days -- hence less lefties than today.
Yeah, converting from left-handed to right-handed is no longer encouraged. It's now okay to change from male to female though. This is all progress. Towards what ? who knows.
