Why are there no good Eastern European fighters below heavyweight?

    check out MW Khytrov. He's not as athletic as Lomachenko but his use of angles and fluidity of combos and accuracy of punches are A+ imo. A boxer/puncher that prefer's to be at mid-range or the inside. He also has very very heavy hands and got 3 stoppages on his way to the Finals. Murata was expected to be the more powerful guy going in.

    Here he is getting a KO in the Semi's against a very impressive Romainian Juratoni. His Gold Medal fight is in my earlier post.

    There may be a lot of good boxers coming from Eastern Europe but didn't have the exposure in the US media. Just think of Narvaez. He is a very good defensive fighter with unbeaten record at 35-0 before facing Donaire. He could have made a name for himself in the US had he fought in the US earlier.
