    - ggg
    - ward
    - Lara

2 of those guys are champions. What happened to contenders wanting to take that belt away?? Hbo had to overpay Stevens because no-one else would get into the ring with ggg.

Floyds mandatory and an easily made fight that should have been on May 3 would be against Lara but floyd dont want a serious threat he wants easy to pad his record. Ward should move up in weight and fight kovalev and stephensen. GGG should fight sergio at the end of the year and i think its possible to make it happen.

Easy. High risk relatively low reward (most would probably lose against them for not-that-great money).

GGG - He's really not avoided anymore. He's gotten more attention, which has increased the interest people have in fighting him.

Ward - He's really not avoided either. However, guys aren't going to go out of their way to fight him.

Lara - He has no real buzz, no fanbase, and no high profile wins. I'm not sure why many high profile fighters would sign up to fight an awkward southpaw that offers very little in terms of money or prestige.

The only reason to get a belt is to make more money. If you can make more money fighting others then why fight for a belt?

GGG could face Lara or Ward but wants to fight JCC jr (at 168) for what? MONEY.

Lara is now Floyd's mandatory at 154 but Floyd is only a WW who fights at 154 for big MONEY fights.

Ward wants to fight everyone Including Floyd but problem is MONEY . . . his SOG moniker is not working for him. He could fight Stevenson or Kov but there is still a lot of MONEY at 168.

Key to boxing is MONEY, always has been always will be.

Everyone is doing their own thing at 168 without needing ward.

I don't think Ward is avoided. GGG is avoided in his own division and Lara is avoided altogether.

Both Ward & GGG have the pick of the HBO pond.
(Except when it comes to facing eachother)

Golovkin's team wants nothing to do with SOG.

Lara is a different situation he is already at elite level & peaking but his main rivals are into making dollars & his brand is not mainstream. Call it an excuse but also call it reality.

Yeah, that's why he had to fight Adama in Feb., and he had to fight Lee in April (cancelled due to dad's death) because all the top guys were lining up to fight him...

He's on the verge of signing to fight Chavez Jr. in July. Martinez has expressed a desire at the end of the year. Gaele says he wants to fight him. Ward said he would fight him. He has some quality options.
