Why are these fighters avoided so much?

    oh ya my bad lol.

    martinez has 1 more fight with hbo after cotto......i think he fights chavez jr at some catchweight.

    That's basically the keyword....The general public don't recognize these fighters as household names aside from hardcore boxing fans/ESB posters...thus, they have difficulty generating revenue for their fights...For instance, Khan wanted to get the Mayweather fight so bad even though deep inside he knew that he would lose just because of the $$$$$$............

    GGG and Lara are genuinely avoided in their division.

    Ward though, isn't getting fights due to the way he fights, his refs allowing him to do it, and the location.

    i certainly wouldn't fight Ward in America if i was a fighter. **** no.

    Who in the hell is avoiding Lara? He's averaging like 3 fights per year!

    FLoyd and Canelo are the only 2 "name fighters" at 154 that have not fought
    him yet but they had bigger fish to fry at the time.

    If Canelo gets past Angulo I'm willing to bet Canelo/Lara is made before 2014 is over!

    The risk versus reward fighting those guys is way high.

    Geale had the chance to fight GGG but instead made $2m schooling a much easier opponent in Mundine, and got to keep his IBF title into the bargain.
