Why are we not getting the fights that we want to see under Arum?

    Why is it that we are not watching these fights now lol???

    1. Pac-Valero, Campbell, or J.M.M
    2. Antonio Margarito-Paul Williams
    3. Kelly Pavlik-Arthur Abraham
    4. Holt-Hatton (Holt-Torres is in the works)

    These fights should be up coming fights lol. Why is it that these fights aren't being made right now? Just wanted to see what fans have to say about this...

    1. Because Pacman is fighting DLH in case you hadn't noticed. He doesn't want a 3rd fight with JMM. Campbell-Guzman was obviously supposed to happen aswell which rules both those opponents out. Pacman-Valero would be one-sided, also Valero isn't accessible in the States.

    2. Because Williams is stepping up to 160, and doesn't seem to want the fight at this moment in time. This could happen soon, it's only been around 2 months since the Cotto fight ffs.

    3. Because Abraham has a mandatory for his IBF title in Raul Marquez, in the mean time Pavlik is stepping up to 170 to fight B-Hop. This fight will happen soon, probably after both of those fights are out of the way assuming both win.

    4. Because Hatton is fighting Malignaggi to decide who is the best 140 in the world, which is good enough for me. Holt's win over Torres was controversial, and he still has a lot to prove.

    Pacquiao just fought JMM in March. We are in September. My my how a boxing fan's memory can be fickle. How can you say we are not getting Pac vs JMM, when we just got it 6 months ago.

    Pavlik just fought TAylor twice, the last one was in February 2008. Now he is fighting Hopkins while Abraham fulfills his mandatory

    Margarito just fought Cotto, both Arum fighters. The fight was less than 2 months ago.

    Holt vs Hatton, whatever. Malignaggi > Holt.

    1. So, he doesn't want a third fight with jmm, and you say Valero can't fight in the states when he can fight in Texas, and that you think that fight would be one sided lol, year, ok... I think Valero knocks PAc out. Admit it, PAc is a business man now...

    2. Now you say because Williams is at 160. Williams practically begged AM for a fight only to be told by Arum that he won't be dealing with Haymon(a lie) who is Williams manager because Haymon asked for too much money to fight PAv. Yeah, a ww asking for too much money to fight a mw...lol.

    4. Hatton-Malignaggi will not settle who is the best at 140. Torres has a controversial win over Holt also, and what about Bradley? Hatton is no longer the best at 140. Lazcano showed us that. You probably want to see Hatton-pac. Nobody wants to see that fight except their fans...

    3. Abraham called PAv out, and if Pav said after his fight with Lockett that he wanted Abraham, Abraham said he would've asked Marquerz to wait until they fight.

    We are not getting the fights that we want in my eyes. All this stuff that is happening wasn't happening at first. The dates are lined up now, but they weren't at one time. Money talks now B.S talks a lot too...

    Abraham said he would've side stepped Marquez if PAv said he wanted the fight after he beat Lockett. Raf Marquez and Izzy gave us a trilogy so why not JMM-PAc III? Williams-A.M probably won't ever be made. We are not getting the fights we want to see. I'm not talking about past fights anyway. I was talking about fights that could've been made now and would be up coming fights.

    Arum used to promote Marquez, and said he was not willing to do anything to stand in the way of Marquez getting his shot. In addition, HBO gave Top Rank a tenative date of January for Pavlik/Abraham a LONG TIME AGO; months ago.
