No we are not wishing it to stop at Mayweather-Pac, you know that already but want to play dumb for Pac's sake.......

Of course its going to take some time for the NSAC to discuss the matter and make the appropriate changes, if they even have any intention to make it right, which none of us really know and would'nt be suprised if they acted dumb and did nothing.........

.......but what we do know is that the NSAC has gone on record as stating they would not prevent a third party from testing any fighter if it was mutually agreed upon by the fighters competing.

Pac Mayweather, potentially the richest fight in boxing history is the best possible scenario for which to start such a protocol change......The public will know about the legit drug testing procedure, and so to because of it, the boxing commisions will take notice because on display for the public to know in bright lights is the insinuation that there is a different drug procedure being implemented because the current one is a joke.
There will be articles written on why there is a different drug testing protocol for this fight, and surely the articles will contain quotes form different science based personell stating the difference between the testing for Pac-Mayweather, and the joke of a system thats in place by boxing currently.

That alone is going to wake up the boxing commisions to examine their out of date testing protocol and almost forcefully put them in a situation to change their current one for the better.

    History lesson!.....
    Thumbed gloves to thumbless gloves??????
    It occured in Hagler-Leonard......

It parralels what Mayweather is proposing for this fight with Pacquiao.
In fact what Leonard proposed was 10 times more disadvantageous to Hagler than a blood test will be to Pacquiao.

Leonard who had been treated for a detached retina insisted that his fight with Hagler be fought with thumbless gloves.

Leonard for three years had been training for Hagler while sparring with thumbless gloves.
Hagler had never used thumbless gloves in his life. To get used to these gloves within a span of months when Hagler had been fighting with regular thumbed gloves all his life was at a common sense disadvantage to Hagler.

For that fight to be made, Hagler had to agree to fight with those thumbless gloves.

Believe me when I say this, but Hagler-Leonard at the time was a much bigger fight than a Mayweather-Pac fight be right now......

Leonard did not want that change to benefit boxing, he wanted to benefit himself, the same crap you all are pointing Mayeather to be doing currently.
("Mayweather is'nt doing it to better the sport, thus he should be ignored).....who gives a **** as long as the end result is that the sport is better and safer for it.

My point is that thumbless gloves started with a Superfight in Hagler-Leonard. Boxing took notice from the biggest names in boxing stepping into that ring with thumbless gloves as to prevent one fighter from deliberately or accidentally thumbing another's eyes.......
.....because of that high profile boxing match between Hagler and Leonard, boxing made a change that all fighters must wear thumbless gloves during a fight.

Change happend before boxing enforced it, in the biggest fight at the time between Hagler-Leonard.

God knows how long it would have taken boxing to force fighters to wear thumbless gloves had it not taken place for Hagler Leonard.....(who btw at the time, dirty fighters would deliberately use thumbing tactics to gain an advantage over a fighter. That change needed to happen, just as better testing needs to happen now.)
Boxing did not force the change, Leonard did as a stipulation for the Hagler fight being made.

If better more legit testing methods are forced upon one fight like the thumbless gloves was forced by Leonard on Hagler, boxing will take notice and surely hurry up its process of change for the better.

Because of Hagler-Leonard, every fighter today wears thumbless gloves in the ring.

A history lesson for all of you dumbnuts!!!:deal:deal:deal:deal:D;)
