Why are you against Ward-GGG fight?

JCC Jr. does nothing for GGG's legacy so stop it, he didn't even have a belt at 168 when this fight was being talked about. Froch does something for his legacy but not more than Ward would who's the best in the game today. Sure he would probably make more fighting Froch but it wouldn't be a huge difference. If GGG dared to be great he would have fought Ward by now. Ward dared to be great by entering the Super 6 and continuing to do so by moving up to 175 and is more than likely fighting Kovalev next year. It's time for GGG to do the same it's a shame that his fans don't want him to, they want him to sit at 160 and beat up on blown up 147 pound fighters fight B-&C fighters and then call him the second coming despite never facing an elite fighter and then make excuses afterwards and get mad at people like me because I see right through it pathetic.

Smith got a decent payday facing Ward for someone of his caliber. Ward-GGG gives career high paydas to both fighters. The money isn't the issue GGG and his fans thinking he will most likely lose is.:deal

 

As if Golovkin would have avoided such a tournament. Yes, Ward was fortunate the Super 6 happened when it did. It's the achievement he's still hanging his hat on 4+ years later.

Dude, I think Ward is really good and all but let's not for a second pretend he's moving up to 175 to "dare to be great." The guy is too big for 168 now. This isn't some heroic move. It's what happens to a lot of fighters as they age and can't cut down to their old weight anymore. Please.

Fighting 10 years and 33 fights, against weak opposition you might argue, without cleaning the division would mean he wasted 10 years for nothing. He has bigger fish to fry, richer too. Let's see Ward coming with JCC Jr or Froch level of money to the table THEN argue why they don't fight. Right now Ward would do **** to GGG legacy, he haven't done anything in 4 years and when he gets his well deserve brutal ktfo you clowns would argue how he haven't fought in 4 years.

super 6 was created for Ward, he didn't dare to do nothing,he didn't dare to travel like the rest of super 6 fighters, he didn't dare to fight an undefeated Bute, he didn't dare to fight Dawson at lhw, he didn't dare to fight a live corps on enemy soil, and he won't dare to fight Kovalev. The only thing he dared was fighting 2 bums in super 6 a.k.a. "replacements" for the original line-up then claim he's on the same level with Calzaghe. pathetic

Quillin is a documented duck, Sturm is a documented duck, N'Dam is a documented duck (twice) and Pirog pulled out due to injury. Who was he supposed to fight at 160? Let's not pretend the top 10 was great in the Pavlik/Taylor era either.

If Hunter was Golovkin's trainer, he would do everything he can to make him stay at 160, THEN move up to settle at the weight with multiple tune-ups, THEN fight the best at that weight. If you think Ward is fighting Kovalev in his first fight at the weight, you're mistaken. You move up without building muscle to fight a lower risk / high reward fighter, like Chavez Jr or Froch - only for you to come back down to the lower weight. You don't do that shyt against a bigger, top 3 P4P guy. It's only common sense, I'm not sure what you were getting at.

6. Who cares? Promoters do. You don't get to watch fights without them right? Ward might make more per fight than Golovkin at the moment, but he doesn't generate more when you factor in the gate and international viewers. After Oct 17th, Golovkin will make more and generate a whole lot more than Ward. The split down the road will reflect that, it's all supply & demand.
