Why are you against Ward-GGG fight?

People watch exciting fights, skills are not as big a deal as you make it out to be. Dawson-Hopkins was full of skills, only did 40K. Find me an exciting fight that was a main event for a PPV that bombed - I'll wait.

And the answer to all of that is Canelo after he beats Cotto, not LHW Andre Ward.

 

Canelo isn't elite enough for them.

 

First off you have to be high if you think Canelo is fighting GGG next if he beats Cotto. Not going to happen man, GBP won't let him anywhere near Canelo. The WBC won't force him to fight GGG they want Canelo to be their champ, that fight won't take place for atleast 18 months or more.:deal

Plenty of so called exciting fights have bombed on PPV. With that said you're everything wrong with boxing fans today all you care about is KOs and power you'd rather see a guy get built up without ever facing a skilled and complete fighter like Ward. It's pathetic when you think about it you hide behind the excitement card, anything to justify a duck.:-(

 

How's GGG going to get past the arguably the best jab in the game today in Ward?GGG is easy to hit. He can't outbox Ward in the middle of the ring he will be beaten to the punch hit with right hands all night long and his power smothered on the inside. Ward is all wrong for GGG and too bad for you him and his team don't share your confidence otherwise they would have taken the fight.:hi:

Do you reaaly think the wbc cares about pr? At the end of the day they will do what they want. They have been biased I'm a big Pbf fan but he could do no wrong in their eyes and they treated him like a God. It will be the same with canelo.

Economics rules boxing. When will you Bumlovstans learn? The reason why the WBC wont strip the Cotto Canelo winner is the exact same reason why Team Triple Duck doesn't want to fight Andre Ward. Money.

I understand that WBC are scumbags but in this case I don't think they're going back on their word, GGG is a popular fighter and after the Lemieux fight the clash between him and the winner of Cotto-Canelo is what will be talked about all over the place, they're not screwing over any random fighter here which is what normally happens.

And moreover, it would be a big fight anyway, him and Canelo... it'd be in their interests to make it happen (and I'm sure Canelo would be willing, the only problem is Oscar), I wouldn't be shocked if they did give Canelo a pass but I don't see it as a guarantee like you guys here claiming that there's no way that GGG-Canelo will happen after, I think it will.

 

Who denies that GGG doesn't want the fight? I know he doesn't if you're talking about me, it's just that I don't have a problem with it like you do.
