Hoya never fought at 126. He started his career at 135, and fought like 1 or 2 fights at 130. Also, he had been at 154 for a year or two before he fought Hopkins and they fought at a catchweight of 158(Hopkins weighed in at about 156). So basically, it was a completely different scenario.

Doe'snt matter if he started at lw. There is still a big difference on a former 130 facing b-hop at 160. Give pac a break. This was his dream on facing hoya, and perhaps it was hoya's dream in facing b-hop.

DLH was draining to make lightweight. He was a very big lightweight if you remember. At least I do.

Pacquiao is remarkably smaller than DLH:patsch

Keep trying dumbass, even your ill founded logic doesnt work as it has nothing to do with facts....DLH never fought at 126. And for your comparison to hold any ground DLH would have to started fighting at 118, figure the difference dumbass

I don't see how you can't see the difference. Hoya went up a couple of lbs. to face Hopkins and had been at JMW for a couple of years. Pac would be going up 12 lbs. and has only been at 135 for 1 fight. The situations aren't the same. Hopkins was criticised for taking on Hoya. Given the bigger size difference, Hoya is naturally taking flak for trying to fight Pac.

I stand corrected i thought he started at 126.Anyways what happened when hoya fought b-hop? He went down like a big log with that shot to the liver smart unique guy. That was the result of the big difference smart, unique guy. It was the weight difference that put that in to effect ergo, there really was a weight difference. If that fight happened between 2 guys with weight difference then why not allow this fight to happen?

Still there was a big difference. If there was'nt hoya wouldnt drop down like a log with that one shot at the liver.
Hoya taking flak taking pac? Why? Are they, or you, sure he would easily dispose pac?:huh

DLH had a tune-up at Middleweight and was moving up from Light Middleweight for this fight. Manny Pacquiao is moving up from 135(only had 1 fight there) all the way to 147 for one fight. Big difference here.

dlh started at 130 not 126, and he was a big enough 130lb fighter that he moved up after having 2 title fights at 130
