Dont get me wrong, If Wilder walks through Ortiz, Joshua and defends against a valid opponent, ill happily become a fan once again, but until i see more walking than talking, im afraid its not for me.

It's crazy the amount of time and energy some people put into hating certain fighters. I see how Wilder can rub people up the wrong way, but the level of hatred he receives is ridiculously over the top.

 

You have way too much time on your hands.

 

A lot of people don't like Wilder because he's been very protected, and because he's fake and disingenuous.

He avoided Ortiz three years ago after the Cuban impressively beat Jennings, and said something to the effect that Ortiz wasn't worthy to face him. But now, with Ortiz three years older and having been inactive, and not looking so impressive in more recent fights against journeymen, somehow he's become worthy.

Wilder says he wants to fight Joshua, but it's all talk - he's not being honest, he'll NEVER fight him (Joshua being younger will never be a shot fighter during Wilder's time as a boxer).
