I beleive this will be Paul Williams's night!

I beleive this because i feel that Kelly Pavlik needs time and space to plant his feet and pick his shots. So there are two ways too beat him
    1. Do as Bernard Hopkins did, move a lot punch in combinations don't let Pavlik set his feet keep him off balance and don't give him time to think.
    or,
    2. Finally this is how i beleive Paul Williams will defeat him, he will pressure fight Kelly not giving him chance to think never mind throw and if all becomes dangerous then hold on.

Of course this is a fight between tw very good proffesionals so it would be ludicrous to think that Pavlik has no chance, if he is too win he has to land jackpot and KO Williams and with Williams stepping up in weight this is ofd course a possibility but i beleive on the night Williams will have his hand raised by UD! (JUST MY OPINION)

    yeah ok...

    ask pipe wrenched and dbzioune..

not only will they tell you im one of the best posters in this ***** they will also tell you i'm knowledgeable as ****.... regardless if we agree or not....

instead of making a bunch of dried up ass jokes why dont you act like a mature poster and have an intelligent conversation instead of resulting to name calling which is only a reflection of someone who has nothing good to say

    edit:

and they didnt seem to have a problem sending a pm

" ight lets see what you have?"

its not that difficult... if you really cared you would do it... when there are people who refute my every point... good or bad... or dont even read them im not typing up a lengthy and intelligent analysis.... for what? its a waste of my own time... im here to talk about people who really care to share opinions in a respectful manner... otherwise you can forget it

I'm picking Paul because of the punch output and the movement. I'm a MAJOR PW fan. I'm not going to say it'll be a clinic line B-Hop, but I think Paul can stick and move for 12 rounds with Pavlik. I got a feeling that Pavlik will get frustrated with the amount of punches Paul's going to throw and shut down.

Statistics, historical facts, and current news are not on your side.

Statistically and historically everytime we've seen Pavlik fight opponents who throw lots of punches, KP throws more. You don't beat him with work rate.

The current news from the Williams camp goes like this. "Pavlik has a china chin. Paul will step to him and knock him out." And, "It's like a shoot out. I'll knock him out." So, there goes your stick and move theory.

Boo my answer to the question for the thread comes down to ONE thing and ONE thing only.
    1. If PW can handle KP's power. That is all. End of thread. PW has not been hit by ANYONE, NO ONE on his resume is as heavy handed as Kelly.
NOW the interesting part, if PW's walks thru KP's punches round after round, KP's confidence starts weakening and the opposite happends to PW's.
I think KP should mixup his offense in the first part of the fight going to the body more then headhunting.

I'm picking Pavlik becuase Williams does get hit often and he hasn't been hit by a MW, not to mention one that can punch.

Ironically I think Williams would be best off going inside, even though he is the smaller man, and he still has a longer reach he is a much better fighter than Pavlik inside.

All right ol' buddy, I see you gonna go and drop my name regarding Private Messages. Since you don't seem understand the "Private" part, maybe I ought to just go ahead and copy/paste our entire converstation on this piece??

I do respect you as a poster, like I told you, but it sure as hell didn't change my thinking of the fight...PAVLIK T/KO 7...and I'll tell you here the same as I did in that PM, that EVERYBODY on here get's there analysis subjected to the opinions of others....****in' Manny Steward could come on here and get called a ****** that don't know **** about boxin' if you feel me....

IMO, Hermit asked you a fair question. You do tear into any Pro-Pavlik analysis..even calling folks blind or nuthugger, etc...BUT will not give out your own assessment unless it's by PM. THIS IS WHAT I ALREADY TOLD YOU, bro.

You still my dude though, and you're right, it was nice to talk about different points civilized like, but Hermit's request is simple (See I like Hermit too, plus he gave me a ride in a blizzard and bought me and my wife dinner:hey:lol:) if you gonna criticize or say anything negative about the other guys analysis in public, it's only fair you do the same.:deal

Fair points, but I don't think Pavlik will allow Williams to "fight inside." I think he would just act like the bigger-stronger man, and clinch, maul, and manhandle Paul.

That would indeed be interesting, and in fact historically special, making PW the first fighter in history to weigh in @ 160 and go there with Kelly Pavlik.:good

Pav uses that "step-back" move of his real well or that little push off he does if somebody usually is tryin' to get in too close.

Well, I guess my subtleness wins no points on that one.:rofl

+ My minds eye did see something other than the move you mentioned. I see Pav sometimes basically push a guy back with both gloves (usually) to "just" keep that distance right. **A much more subtle move than the more effective forearm blast.
