Kelly pointed out guys that thought they could do better by changing trainers after they got successful and how it never seemed to work out for them. Part of it is the communication in the corner that people like to make fun of. At this point a very few words and HOW they are said mean a lot more to them that us outsiders will EVER pick up on.

I was able to get a copy of Lyell/Duddy where Jack was in the corner near the broadcasters. You can hear him the whole fight and just about every damned word he says. Never once will you hear "double jab".

Jack is being judged mainly on one fight in which Kelly should probably not have taken and definitely should not have been in the ring that night against anyone above c level at most. I'm not sure how long Jack has been at this, but it is over 20 years that I know of. He did some fighting himself. Toughman that I know of. Passion for a sport will mean you will probably learn it well.

    Kelly ain't complaining.

Once again, sir, I disagree. Kelly has been with Jack since he was 9 years old or so, and until they ran into Mr. Hopkins (@ LHW, among other things) it was the first fight they'd lost since like 1997. We have our opinions, and mine is that it would be disasterous for Kelly and Jack to part ways.:yep

Thanks for clearing up your description, the above is much classier/better than calling Coach Leow a Bum.:good

Of course I've seen it. I have a 9 year old son after all, and tbh, they make these "childrens" movies with "just within the lines" type of comedy that makes it enjoyable for adults too.

But yeah, the overall point of all that is what I'm gonna go with.

NEW AND IMPROVED, left hand out of Hell!:hey:yep

Jack also made it to Collegiate Level Foot Ball...Colorado(?), I think. Knee injury. He evidently broke a gang of rushing records at local High School's up there too. Football failed, he bought an old building and the legend of South Side Boxing Club began.:good

I really don't know. Guess your gonna have to have confidence in your team. Could they pull out again?

Yeah, That doesn't look to good and the hand looked really weak but he has close to 2 months so he should be good.

I'm picking Pavlik because he's pretty damn comfortable at middleweight and packs a powerful punch that will probably knock Williams off his gameplan.

My Pick is Pavlik via ko... I see Kelly impose his physical style on PWilliams... Both throw many punches.. PWilliams mixes them up more Pavlik relies to often on his 1-2's.. But he is much stronger so that his style will dominate the fight..

Think they are on a similar level in defensive abilities.. They both will get hit but Kelly got much more pop...
The only intangible I see is Pavliks layoff and injury time... Perhaps Williams comes better in the fight and then it will be hard for Kelly to find his pace and distance with Williams throwing punches all the time.. But if Kelly is game from the opening bell he should get a clear ko win..
