the score is this, Those who know boxing, know International talent. Those who know mainstream PPV boxing, know what Max Kellerman tells them.
May have been the case 20 years ago but things are changing. Certainly in the UK where we allways steal the best ideas.
It was a link posted here on ESB in one of the threads. I was a few weeks (perhaps a little over a month ago) ago. It was from what was supposedly a well known British writer, however, the Brits here panned it saying he always wrote "shite" (sp) and no one took him seriously. He referred to Jones by name. I will try to find it for ya in a bit here after lunch and I finish painting. Perhaps you already know who I'm talking about from my description however. It will be very hard to find because I don't remember the thread. Either way, I was simply referring to the fact that you said a Brit writer would never write something like that about American fighters. And the bias on here comes from both sides. Anyone can see that.
Yes, I have seen a few posters here who actually say "well he's from Europe, so he's a bum." But I'm not buyin what they're selling. Good fighters come from all over, and the US has it's fair share of overrated title holders who aren't actually that good to begin with. Not sure that was the writer. I will have to take a good long look for the article here in a bit.
Why is someone always creating a stupid ass thread like this? Why even bother responding. Posters like this have no good input on interesting threads and always want to cry about some phantom bias. Pull the tampon out and quit bitching.
Kessler is a top notch boxer puncher. He might need a little more movement, but he's good at what he does and puts his punches together well. He will win his next fight. I favor Calzaghe over Hopkins due to his age, but old Hops is tricky.
You havent been around long enough to make a blanket statement like that. BTW? There's plenty of bias vs Americans as well. Personally? **** IT!! I like things of many cultures and have no problem with the Hatton's Witters, and Calzaghe's.
