    decent perspective
thankfully Rahman was not a coward and gave a rematch instead of retiring

Maybe Rahman should have retired on top and not given Lennox a rematch. Right?

:deal LOL, and Rahman actually DID BEAT Lewis. . Not by "default."

Hahahahah, I still remember Lewis squirming around the canvas in a pile of shattered glass. . . PAWING THE AIR with his jab (FENCING RESPONSE).

REMEBER! When Lennox goes down, HIS ARMS GO UP!

we certainly know how Lennox looks after going down.

never seen Vitali go down before... not even against Lennox.
shame the battle was stopped, worse that there was no rematch

Iam a hugh Vitali fan but it was a good stoppage that eye was a mess, and yeah Lewis did back out of a rematch but that happens in boxing. The fact is Vitali has lost twice and thats it no matter that he was hurt against byrd or not and Lewis ripped his eye horriable but no excuses. However since Lennox retired the division has been very watered down and thats not the Klitchsko fault they beat for the most part the the hightest ranked Hw's in the division

Not really. He could have retired on top and not given a rematch and the first fight was not even as competitive as the Lennox/Vitali fight was.

you mean after a win, or as champ, both?

Yeah. . . Really, I just felt robbed as a boxing fan of finding out who was truly better H2H between the two. . .

So robbed. . . Damn. . . Would have been a great fight too. This time both boxers would have had proper time to get ready for one another too.

6 pounds is not much.. But considering that he was about 240-245 in his prime, then 256 is a tat overweight

no retirement age depends clearly and blatantly on their age, as clearly as a tin of peaches contains peaches, not pineapples.

curious to know what you think retirement age should be based on other than......age

oh so you want to be a smart ass. well lets see how your argument stands up.

well, global statistics prove that more than 95% of reigning world champion boxers have retired by the age of 38. make a list of all the major ones yourself in just one division, if you dont believe me. Just do it now, dont argue its not true. And then have the grace to accept that you are wrong against such overwhelming evidence.

Human biology, as dictated by the actual laws of physics of the universe, also prove a significant downshift in every physical level of ability after the age of 35 in humans. now dont try and argue that black is not black, this is as true as the theory of gravity. So no dont try and prove gravity doesnt exist. Just accept it does.

so whats left? which point are you still arguing against? take your pick. either way your argument is facing Hurricane Katrina. with an umbrella.
