Cotto was pretty hyped but not compared to a famous former percieved elite fighter like Mosley., and that will get out of control now. I'm surprised it has taken so long. But many people weren't even aware Cotto could box last week!

But now the world should in theory go Cotto mad.

Beating Tarver and Wright is irrelevant. What have they done recently? What weight does Wright fight at usually? He even lost to Taylor, who has since lost. Hopkin's should be outside teh top 10 P4P, that is without doubt.

He isn't isn't a threat at all to Calzaghe, Kessler, Dawson etc...

You associate American ignorance with the belief that fighters such as Shane and Bernard are still competitive. Well, clearly they still are competitive. Should I associate European ignorance with the belief or rather the state of denial that they are not competitive?

Shane in most people's eyes just fought a pick'em (or at least very close) fight with the toughest younger fighter in the division.

And Bernard? Don't even get me started on your notion of him not being competitive. He is the light heavy champ, has taken better competition than Calzaghe in the last years, and has bigger wins on his resume in addition. Does it mean that he beats Joe at this given point in time? No. But can you discount his competitive in such a fight. No.

RJJ and Tito- I have little interest in the fight. Both should retire. Oscar- Im tired of him too. But Shane and Bernard are still elite fighters, period.
