Because there is no question he is juicing and has being most of his career, like the majority of American athletes.

U must be ****ing kidding me

So most American athletes juice (which I agree with)

but these eastern euro monsters don't

    give me a break

Most elite athletes are on something they're not allowed to be.

Naturally, people start to lose muscle mass increasingly every year after around 40. At 49, he is definitely doing something to slow down the clock, or work against it. This can be achieved naturally, to a degree. I don't know if Hopkins has ever used anything or not, though I wouldn't be shocked if he is taking something. I'm interested to know how he is able to recover from all of these 12 round fights as quickly as a man half of his age, maybe more quickly. I also think it is possible that he is taking something between fights specifically for recovery.

Exactly. There is nothing special about Hopkins muscularity or muscle tone for a 50 year old man. What I find amazing is that his body allows him to put in the training necessary for a twelve round fight at his age.

The fact hes one of the most clean living athletes ever surely has had a lot to do with this. Very few athletes live that cleanly, and his style has never been conducive to great speed and reflexes.

Probably. I am a little bit older than Hop, don't drink or smoke and have trained or worked out for most of my life. However, at this point in my life, my body can't tolerate hard workouts back to back on a daily basis and my workouts are not nearly as hard as what Hopkins is going through. It's not even muscle soreness, your joints can only take so much pounding. Like I said, the amazing thing about Hopkins to me is that he is able to train the way he does at his age.
