Not so fast Bobby your boys must first Prove they are up to scratch , it's a historic title we are talking about here mate we can't have the likes of Mundine just waltzing into a crack at it .
Mundine wouldn't make himself a part of a group effort mate. Merry xmas you old *****. How's the Mandy snowman coming along??
No mate if I done that it would be hidden from the. World , BTW what's the crack with that whinging Pontin ***** , unbelievable .
Ponting is not a sook Josey.. A ****in Butt-Butt taxi driver got lost on the way to Airport West and ended up at the MCG centre pitch. **** him off!!!!! How's the ***** being unable to adjudicate a friggin No Ball!!!
Nothing like a new experience, hey mate. I bet ya wearing ya "I love Audley" underpants right now too. Say, what ever happened to Brian Curvis?? Still kickin? Was chatting to a mate about him tonight. Serious.
Though rarely fought for these days by Aussies, the Commonwealth title has a proud and 'real' history. Unlike many of these meaningless titles that only represent a vehicle to make some greedy boxing hanger-on richer.
To answer the original question from contendo....the comm title is not what it used to be 30 years ago. Back in the day it was a world title for Aussies and was the best you could do. Not trying to downplay what Bobby said about money for defense however no way a promoter pays anything close to $50,000 to defend that title here today save one of our top 5 fighters that would get that cash or more anyway IMO $10,000 to $15,000 max to defend the title here and less than that to go to the UK chasing one. Let's face facts.....the glory days of boxing are gone....it's just not like that anymore :deal
