Why aren't we hearing more about Usyk vs. DuBois?

As far as Usyk vs Dubois is clear that Warren is/was doing everything in his power to delay that fight, and i won't be surprise if Dubois pull out the injury card out.
The fight is planned on a big stadium on August 26th in Poland.
There should be official announcement soon.

 

It's not a showdown ,it's a slow down for the heavyweight champion to fight Dubois

 

Yes, it seems as if Warren wants to delay the fight, to keep the aging Usyk inactive for as long as possible.

 

That is true. I was looking at Muhammad Ali’s record and he was fighting 4 or 5 times a year during his prime.

 

It's a dire fight and a summation of the state the division is in.

 

I hated it when Fury fought Chisora. Complete waste of time that I sadly decided to watch, same with Fury vs Whyte.

 

Why most people on this forum can't see this is beyond me.

 

If you paid for it then you’re partly to blame for the crap we are used to seeing. Everyone complains about the top fighters fighting crap and then they just pay to watch anyway, this means the top fighters fighting crap because they still get well paid.

 

If Dubois pulls out, Wilder is ready to step in and the WBA have said they will permit it.

As much as I am not a wilder fan, he is a guy that the fans find highly intruifgin at the moment, and light years ahead of Dubois, who is nothing but a good-looking marketing vehicle with no talent for the sort at all.

 

The problem is it doesn't work like that. And Wilder, just like Fury loves to talk of people who have fights planned.

Now if Dubois pulls out, do you think that Wilder will agree for the 2m.??? The fight is financially much much bigger. And the pot will be much bigger. And the fight will either be in USA or Saudi.
So what thats mean is that a new purse date have to be made. Everything from the beginning literally.
Which is going to waste a lot of Usyk time and f**** the December plans.
Also Usyk will have to cancel or extend his camp. Pretty f**** situation, but i expect anything from Warren who only cares about Fury.

 

Couldn't they sweeten the pot? I get the money, but Wilder has said that he is ready to step in at any time, I believe, so no reset. Just a matter of fidning him a few more handfulls of cash.

 

I don't know, but the fight won't generate close to it's potential in Poland.
Completely different time zones to USA and so on.
And i doubt that Wilder will agree for few millions.
So Let's hope Dubois doesn't pull in the last moment.

 

What possible incentive has Warren got for that?

 

I see an injury incoming. Amer Abdallah already said he would prefer the fight to not go ahead.
