After watching Valero take on Demarco, I can't help but think a fight with Juan Manuel is arguably the best fight in boxing, that realistically, could be signed RIGHT NOW! Let's get vocal about it! I could go on talking about why these guys would make a great match-up, but, I'm sure everybody who posts here already knows why. So how bout we Iron out the details to make it easy on the promoters. 135 or 140? Catch weight? Who wins? Who should get paid more?

    Valero would destroy Marquez???
You guys lose faith in boxers way too quickly.

Look what Marquez did against Pacquiao, what do you think he would do to valero?

I think Marquez has a great shot. I respect Valero very much, especially after his last performance overcoming a nasty cut in Demarco's backyard. Still, Marquez is an all time great boxer counterpuncher that packs some power. If he has anything left Valero's style may be tailor made for him.

I'd say 60-40 split pay in Marquez's favor. Also, I think 140 would be the perfect weight. Brings Valero that much closer to Pac should he win, and closer to a more natural fluid weight for Marquez. They're both available and looking for a big fight, and both hovering around the same weight. Let's see it!

    Whatever.

You still think Valero would 'destroy' marquez.

Your opinion on anything after that is moot.
