    Yeah, for me.
So engaging me in a conversation is futile.

I love the idea of the fight, but does Valero bring Marquez the $ at this stage of his career. JMM is one of my favourites and has earned his elite status in the world of boxing and whilst not saying Valero isn't a draw, is he not a big enough draw yet for the deserving $ JMM should receive?

Tim Bradley vs. JMM at 140lbs. Why isn't anyone thinking or talking this?

For what it's worth, I can't see past Hatton returning vs JMM in June at a Wembley or City of Manchester Stadium. Big crowd, great PPV numbers = great $ for both fighters.

Right now, Marquez wins. Probably stops him late in the fight.

Contendo - I think Bradley vs Marquez would be a good fight. I have to admit to being a Marquez fan, and I don't necessarily like a fight with Bradley for him as much as I like Valero. I think internationally Valero vs Marquez would be HUGE and the winner would STAND TALL in the boxing world! Boxing can always use another "adored champion" and I think a win for either guy would do that for them. Atleast for as little or as long as they last.

You'd have to shave a few years off of Marquez to even make a conversation out of who would win. If Jones-Hopkins can happen then this fight could easily happen. I don't think it'd be competitive, but I know it'd be entertaining. Marquez could probably have a better money fight, and a much better chance of keeping brain cells, chasing Hatton.

Agree, if the weight gain doesnt affect JMM coming down again. Marquez can easily counter Valero who throws crazy combinations but nowhere as complicated as Pac's who gives crazy angles. Id favour JMM at lightweight but any higher and I think he would be a bit slower.

That's the outcome I'd bet on right now. I think Marquez can get inside Valero's flurries and "Go swimming without getting wet", as Naseem Richardson advised Shane Mosley to do against Margarito. Marquez has a great way of getting inside his opponents punches, counter punching inside the "eye of the storm", so to speak. Being he just went 12 with Floyd I'm guessing Vegas bookies make him a 3-1 fave. Much closer fight tho, could be a gamblers dream.

This will be a great fight. A very good test for Valero. A very good comeback fight for Marquez. Must see!
