Why Ariza was fired by Roach?

Thats Freddie Roach talking, I think you can take anything either say's about eachother with a grain of salt.

The truth lies somewhere in the middle. My guess would be that Ariza probably got into facets of Pacquiao's game that were boxing related which is Roach's expertise, but likely not to the extent he's imposing his authority over Roach's.
When things go horribly wrong and they have from Marquez 3 to present, then the camp starts to bicker and point fingers. This usually happens to most camps that cant accept that their teachings and that there fighter simply got beat straight up.

 

If you have even just one guy that is calling out to your fighter,it can cause havoc. One voice in the corner is all a fighter needs(two for manny due to Buboy translating)


Ive seen Ariza talking to Manny inbetween rounds and wondered if he had been around the gym for so long that he was good enough to dispense info to a fighter. Well Roach didnt like it and neither did the cutman.

S C coaches should stick to what they do. If I see Ariza in the Rios corner,Im going to keep an eye and ear open to see how much he gets involved. Garcia needs to tell him to shutup and just be there to pass the towel and water bottle. I bet he wont be able to help himself anyway.:deal
