because Eddie Hearne is a rubbish matchmaker.

Frank gets his figters home adavantage in winnable fights, Eddie takes them abroad to get smashed up so he can fill his pockets

Rubbish, they couldn't really have picked a more suitable opponent than beltran out of the credible contenders. he just wasnt good enough on the night, whether there was an excuse for that or he has regressed remains to be seen.

No wonder boxing is in a state, people are actually complaining about fighters stepping up the level of their opposition and taking fights they aren't guaranteed to win.

Stepping up in class = bad match making.:-(

home advantage really helped cleverly didn't it?

the fact is Hearn got some pretty average fighters big fights for world titles and people moan because they had to go aborad. do you think Purdy would beat Alexander in the UK or Gavin beat Broner in the UK?

both where luckly to get world title shots and big paydays.

It is highly doubtful given thier past fights that Rees or Purdy would have got themselves into mandatory position so how can Hearn be criticised for getting what all fighters aim for in their career-a title shot??

Im not a 'fan' of promoters, i just want to see our boxers in good fights and developed well.

Wa rren can get fighters to a certain level but then protects them for all he is worth. He takes a risk (or does his job in my eyes) and gets Clev a tough fight, worst thing is this was a step up for Clev and he was the titleist, if he had more competitive fights through his career he might have been able to last longer and who knows what else. Yet War ren is suddenly forgiven for the numerous debacles he has contirbuted to...not in my eyes

I thought that when Billy tried to bollock him in the corner and Ricky told him to drop the attitude

  14. There's only one way to find out if you do have a chance and that's by taking the fight. The Kovalev fight was an ideal fight to make at that time, ****ing hell how long do you want fighters marking time for with their WBO straps.

You've got to fight someone decent at some point. Might as well do it in your prime than wait until your in your mid 30's.

    So you're still a moron !!
