The anaylsis is one sided hence the abuse.

If your going to break down a fight this is not the way to do it

You might as well have just said:

"Hopkins beats Calzaghe because he's an American and Calzaghe is obviously just a dirty powder puff guy from Wales."

The level of competition argument holds no weight because Hopkins is 3-3 against "better competition". In other words Bernard is batting .500 against the elites where as Calzaghe has faced ONE elite and outclassed him.

I see this fight as a one sided affair, just being honest.

I don't know if you saw the Taylor/Hopkins fights because I did and to almost everyone but the judges , Hopkins won at least 1 of those fights.

If this fight goes the distance, then Hopkins will need a knock down or 2 to win it. However I think Joe is going to get hurt this fight and come out pretty bloody.

Did I say he beat RJJ? Ever?

I edited "taking down" to "taking on".

Who are you to say? He thinks Hopkins will win and gave his reasons for thinking that way. Period.

Why don't you counter him properly. give the reasons why Calzaghe is going to win. All you see is bashing and criticizing. Why not acknowledge the fact that he actually put some time and thought into it and do the same with your response? :think

Calzaghe is going to get spat on whatever the outcome.

I never wanted him to take this fight, but if he wins easily there will be endless posts about how a "prime Hopkins" would knock him out in the first.

I'm Calzaghe fan, but honestly, the OP makes some very good points, the most important being that the fight is in Hopkins' backyard. Calzaghe will have to completely dominate to get a points decision in the US (and I'm American). Also, Calzaghe will necessarily- by the laws of physics- have lost some speed and agility at the higher weight (no one can say how much until the fight begins). Hopkins, at the very least, is very comfortable fighting southpaws, unlike most orthodox fighters. And finally, Hopkins knows how to win, fairly or otherwise, and knows how maximize his strenghs while neutralizing his opponents. I'm rooting for Calzaghe, but any money would be on Hopkins.

I never said i thought calzaghe was going to win.

I'm massively torn and will break it down in my head nearer the fight

Your entire april fools post made me laugh, thanks for that.
The highlighted section is very good though, Joe has been cut once, in the Bika fight, by a head butt. One time cut equals susceptible? Get the **** outta here

What I meant by susceptiple is his bobbing and weaving on the inside. Bernard will cut him with a illegal headbutt.
