Hopkins resume puts him in the top 10 middleweights of all time and that's it.

That's the reality of the situation whether his fans like it or not. His best win by far was trinidad which is a victory i rate highly but that's not enough to make him an all time great. HOF yes ATG no.

Hopkins will defeat Calzaghe because he is from the streets and has been stabbed a few times.

Salem round 2, Bika round 4, that is more than one occassion. Also headbutted Starie, Sheika, Salem ( 11th round) and Lacy ( but only lost a point in the 11th for punching Lacy behind his own back a la Mike McCallum vs Toney II)...

If Hopkins was that good, he wouldn't of had a close fight with an overweight Winky and wouldn't of lost to Taylor.

they don't all have to hit.

as mikkel kessler said, the amount of punches he throws is enough to confuse you when you're in the ring with him.

regardless of whether they land or not...

You are talking to a proffesional daytrader of 10 years. Gamblers put money they can not risk into the pot. I am not a gambler. I make investements. And this to me is a worth while investement.

Less risk -high return ventures in wall street? That is an oxymoron.
You put your balls on the table. Sometimes they get smashed.

I go with my gutt. I have put alot of thought into this "investement". The risk/reward is there imo. I would never have bet against Tarver (or for him) because he was a bigger guy who knocked RJJ the F out. That fight was filled with uncertainty. This fight to me has too many things going in favour of Hop.

The stars have aligned themselves. Time to put up.

    Taylor great like Ali? No.

Taylor , one of the most talented fighters of today? Yes.

Judges do their thing. I watched the Taylor/Hopkins fight and I felt he was robbed.

I also think Taylor would school Calzaghe.

Calzaghes game is filled with too many holes.

Bernard may lose, and he may win. But one thing he won't do is be confused. Bank on that.
