I scored it 115 to 113 giving Floyd rounds 1-5, 10 and 11. I don't care what the majority of people think because the majority of people and analysts are anti-Mayweather. I was just pointing out that there WERE those who felt Floyd won.

roach goes into panic whenever emmanuel is against the ropes. He doesn't like his boy at close ranges where bodyshots can easily be landed.

That's just one of the reasons I rolled my eyes at him. Manny fighting off the ropes or on the inside is like seeing a cat barking.

Nobody said that anybody said he can fight off the ropes. My statement was in association with the points made in the thread topic. He lacks versatility.

 See, that's another thing I was going to point out that *****s use the "anti-Mayweather" approach. It's just a case for them not handling the truth. I really don't think Floyd was hated at all around the time he fought Castillo. Floyd started getting hate and rightfully so when he started insulting Gatti and calling himself better than SRR or SRL and calling himself the GOAT.

That was way after Castillo and Floyd's reign at 135. So you'll have to try better than that bud. During Floyd's time at 130-135 he was actually being labeled the next Golden Boy or the next Leonard. There was no hatin during that time. Mayweather was actually being backed HBO fighter, not Castillo who was backed by Showtime. So why would HBO analysts be backing a guy who's not lauded by HBO? Because Castillo won and they were speaking the truth. But that's your opinion I respect that, but please don't bring up the hatin for Floyd because that's just a sorry excuse.

but you said that was the reason you rolled your eyes at him, but he never said what you rolled your eyes at him for.

Well, and that it's a horrible situation for a smaller guy to be pinned against a bigger dude, but sure?

That marg bodyshot in round 6 had emmanuel change tactics for the remaining half of the fight. I think he almost broke a rib?

Didn't you hear Merchant refer to Floyd's style as being akin to music by Brittany Spears when he was entering the ring against Chico? That was at 130... two fights prior to Castillo.

Being an HBO fighter does not equal to being supported by HBO commentators. Your arguments are flawed. I made a video on the Castillo fight. Go watch it and take your arguments there.

I'm not going to fall into the pacweather bull****, but I will comment on the "boxer/brawler" theme.

The term "styles make fights" is true, but it is also one of the most over used and exagerated terms in boxing. If it were true that a slick cutie pie always beats a brawler, and if it were true that there is no such thing as a truly great brawler, the guy in my avatar would not be in the hall of fame.

actually in the margarito fight pacquiao did some good inside fighting. Dodging and weawing and countering. Nothing like mayweathers inside fighting but it was pretty impressive

You can make all the vids you want, but watch and listen to the last 2 rounds of their fight and you can hear the commentators acknowledging JLC as upsetting Floyd. This was supposed to be an easy fight for Floyd and crowning of a new champ, but JLC ruined his coming out party.

As for Merchant refer to Floyd comparing to Brittany, Chico was the favorite to win and had a more crowd pleasing style that's why I can understand Merchant underestimating Floyd. I was actually going for Floyd I thought he would win a decision, but he shocked everyone with the way he beat Chico.

Your right, commentators shouldn't be biased, but you know they are. It's like a carsalesman talking bad about the product they are trying to sell. At any given chance, they will try to talk good about the network's fighter. Just listen to Steward talking up Williams before he get's knocked out. I know we're getting abit off topic, but that's my opinion. :good
