This was a fight that would have defined this era of boxing. Everybody, and I mean everybody, would have watched this fight. Guys who don't watch boxing or hadn't for years, girls who hadn't watched a fight since Oscar. Seriously, my place wouldn't hold all the people who would want to come to my fight party. Like JohnAnthony said, boxing is an ex-girlfriend who treats you like **** but you keep coming back to her.
It may still happen but way out of time and late. Mayweather has done his job and the same can't be said about Manny since JMM3. So I don't know who lost is hunger first. And please don't put it on Bob, Bob is a matchmaker and a business man, not a boxing specialist.
It's a shame Mayweather was too scared to fight. He just couldn't get his head around how Manny became so "extraordinary," as he puts it.
It didn't happen it won't happen **** it, never would of been as good as any of the fights in the Marquez vs Vasquez trilogy. Im a Marquez fan too but trying to judge that last fight to tie them up is bull**** Marquez was just less shot in their 4th fight Vasquez won 2 of 3 in the trilogy, in their peak Vasquez was the better man in the fights, which doesn't even matter because the fights were that good.
If I was Manny I wouln't take it. We all know JMM has his number and even tho Manny is no ***** and won't be ducking a guy that deserves respect and has earned shot and rematches after each shot, Manny loses to JMM and it's game ova! No rematch against Brad, no million dollar fight with Floyd, Manny and Bob have to think together...
