Why calaslappy should not be in the hall of fame.

To be fair, I don't even believe the majority of his countrymen recognized him until after the Lacey bout.

I'm from England, his coverage here was terrible...I had to find different ways of watching him, I remember a number of his bouts being on the undercard to some crappy main events (if I remember rightly). Not sure if it was any different in Wales.

 

actually, bhop fought allen three times. the echols fights were tough at that time. in the second echols fight, echols picked up hopkins dropping him on his shoulder. doctors after the fight said the shoulder was separated. instead of taking the DQ victory, hopkins fought on and stopped echols in the 10th. gutsy performance. nothing calzaghe ever did could compare.

ah yes dawson that guy who twice had to give away a ton of free tickets to his fights with tarver and nobody has ever heard of outside of the hardcore boxing community and johnson a guy with 14 defeats on his record and was taken apart and tko'd against the guy calzaghe recently defeated they would both do a lot for his legacy ........They are both good fighters but calzaghe would have whipped both of them with ease

 

If anything steroid cheats are the ones who should be shunned by the HOF.:good
