Joe C was already well established and past his prime by then.

Joe C made his legacy in the 168 division, Hopkins on is gravy.

Every fighter that was put in front of Joe in his prime (168) got blown out.

Neither fighter was going to "expose" the other, they are both past their prime and both have their legacies cemented for their previous work, what either fighter did that night has little to do with their actual career.

    Get a life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All I heard after Jones beat Tito was that he was back...his speed and
desire.....now all of a sudden he is a shot fighter because he lost to
an undefeated Welshman ( Englishman ).
Joe kicked Hopkins ass and now Jones.....so what are you crying about.
I have seen Joe beat everyone put in front of him......why do the same
people who shamelessly hug Gayweather's nuts....have to continually
    criticize Joe?
So he isn'nt your cup of tea!!!!
    Who cares????
He is a hell of a fighter who will do enough and adjust to win....if he
doesn't have to kill you in the ring ...he won't do it....he knows you
have a wife and kids at home and an aspiring career in boxing.
He is a good fighter....great? probably not....however, give him his
credit....otherwise don't ever give Margie or Gayweather any credit.

bottom line is its easy to say that a younger jones could have done this and that but we will never know and what we seen tonight was disturbing the guy just could not do a damn thing even with calzaghe in front of him and his hands down , props to calzaghe he came in and did what he had to do and thats that

Whats is your problem? Calzaghe just beat the **** out of Jones tonight. What is your problem? Life goes on. It's ok. You will survive.

He impressed me tonight. He is one of the best P4P fighters today. He's a supremely talented fighter. But that still doesn't change that fact that some of his fans are delusional and overrate him for the reasons i mentioned in my initial thread.

SD Robin Reid. Many felt Reid should have won.

Yet another "I am bitter, so I will lunge at something I can do." - Debate boxing, not the fans. This was supposed to be a boxing site - threads like this will just underline that ESB has become a trolling forum more than anything else.

First of ALL win is a win! Congrats to Calzaghe

Now! IF YOU CALL WINNING OVER 39 YEAR OLD AND A 43 YEAR OLD BOXER
a true ACHIEVEMENT you are kidding yourself!!!!

DAMN! Can the CALZAGHE FANS truly tell themselves that fighting RJJ and HOPKINS when they were prime will have the same RESULTS?!

In fairness, probably it's his manager/promoter's fault which did not expose him earlier. Coz to bad, they pitted Calzaghe to two great BOXERS which is way PAST their PRIME.

NOW, tell me if you will give CALZAGHE credit for beating a 39 year old BOXER! Well and good!

DAMN! PAC should have waited 4 more YEARS to make sure DLH is already SHOT like RJJ :hey :yep :hey
