Yet another fail thread without any substance. It is not funny, when there isn't an ounce of truth in it, Bigreg. Comedy failure.

There is a reason that football players dont play rugby. They are far too large to be hitting each other without pads. Imagine getting hit by a NFL linebacker who bench presses 500 lbs and runs a 4.4 sec 40 without pads on. They already suffer life threatening injuries with the pads on. The intensity of a football game is far greater than one of a rugby game. A rugby player would get slaughtered in a football game and a team of football players playing rugby would slaughter any rugby team. Jus Facts.

I couldnt agree with you more. If anyone on here is even considering wwf a sport please kill yourself. Nascar is indeed for rednecks. If you really wanna enjoy a sports telecast though you should watch college sports...especially NCAA football and basketball. Always exciting.

The real reason is that he didnt fight anyone early, and now he is fighting on the AARP tour. Joe has a few good wins but on a whole he hasnt really done much. I know that the European guys will be up in arms about this statement but its really true. A great sign of that is the way that his fans always try and tie in what the few good fighters that he beat has done as a way of proving his greatness...Problem is if Joe had done enough you wouldnt have to...Think about the other greats from past eras you rarely hear people say "well he beat this guy and that guy beat that guy"

Joe did it to himself, Im one of the few American that actaully think that Joe is one of the most talented fighters of his era but his lack of a solid resume will hurt him in the pages of history.

That has to be the most stupid comment i have ever heard... you clearly know nothing about rugby or seen any rugby. for one they are two completly different sports, to say a football team would slaughted a rugby team is total bull****. dont you realise that are very big fast guys in rugby who run for 80 minutes, tackle, scrumage, kick, run with the ball as well.
In american football, you have one guy who passes the ball, one guy who kicks the ball, a couple of guys who just block, couple of guys who just catch the ball, couple of guys who tackle. Thats hardley multi tasking is it.
It really pisses me off when people go on about my country is better than yours, my sport is better than yours, my dad is harder than your dad.
its like being at kindergarden, and im just as annoyed for letting myself being dragged into it.

listen dude, Rugby and football are different sports but played by tough guys you cant compare the two.

Jeff Lacy wore an England ''soccer jersey'' before his fight with Calzaghe.

Thats not his gym, thats his US training camp, im guessing he didnt redecorate when he got there, his gym has photos of himself, nobody else this can be seen on 24/7.

    Epic fail!

You're right mate, Britain like the rest of the world is influenced by American popular culture. You do have some great things that come out of your country. But what are most of the basics of America influenced by..............that's right ============> Britain.

    - You speak our language
    - You have cities names after us (New York, New England, Birmingham)
    - All your sports are influenced by British sports

Come on mate. You love us really. :yep

    A few reasons:

    A great boxing brain
A massive desire to win. If you played the ****er at Monopoly he would go all out
    Great genetics
    Good physical attributes
    Fantastic work ethic
Great Charisma (not fighting, but fame and money)

I love watching Joe fight, I love the fact that he hasnt lost since his early teens, and I love the fact that any time he is involved in a "close" fight I can put a load of money on him and win.

Please Americans go on betfair.com and back Roy Jones, I beg you. I need a new car. Just do it!
