Why Calzaghe will fight Dawson

    I'd would like to see Dawson get another fight before Calzaghe and get more experience so they can set up a mid to late 2009 match.

    the last time he was gnna get credit was when IF he fought Lacy..He did....He got ZERO credit from his adversaries on here, and the same results will be posted here if he fights Dawon,,,no credit, even if he wins= you will read " Dawson over rated,,....Calzaghe is still a bum!!....just wait and see, and Joe aint fighting a mere 2 year age difference as Jones, or 6, like Hopkins...this is a 11 year difference with Dawson

    On some threads, the Calzaghe's detractors are already making excuses for Dawson in the event the fight happens and Dawson loses.

    joe really dont need that fight, his legacy is safe i think.but it would shut up everyone if he beat one more guy in chad, but then what, someone else will call him out and then everyone will say joe is ducking this that and the other.i think joe should say **** chad retire.

    he gets all the props one can get if he fights him and if he beat him which is very big IF in my eyes then joe would be one of best fighters ever.so if he wants to do that he should take the fight, if not then just retire.

    Dawson shouldn't fight Calzaghe. Just try to beat everyone else, retire undefeated also, and then everyone on the forums will say Dawson would have beaten Calzaghe with ease if they had ever fought. I'm just afraid Dawson will end up like Pavlik or Lacy. His chin reminds me of Pavlik's.

    I dont know why some fans keep mentioning Taylor or Johnson

    Joe gets enough stick on ESB so imagine if he choose 1 of these 2 for his last fight..... it would be`Taylor lost twice to Pavlik big deal, Joe should fight such & such`
    or
    `Why is he picking Johnson, he got stopped by Hopkins & lost to Tarver & Dawson`


    The only way Joe will get ANY KIND OF fair deal is if he A. fights Dawson or B. fights hopkins again.... those are the other top 2 guys in the division without question in my mind..... the Dawson fight would be better entertainment + he is undefeated so I would say Dawson or retire.

    That way he has fought & beat the best & only the morons will try discredit him.
