They need in the ring this yr summertime at least give boxing fans another great yr jus like `07 :p
if PBF doesnt want to take the fight wat about ODLH?
Gary Lockett hopefully will get a shot at either Pavlik or Taylor, Lockett being an upcomin fighter this yr(pity he acts like PBF without the belts).
    Hokins Calzaghe
    Hatton Torres/ Malignaggi
    Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez

Hatton is a good fighter, no doubt, but he isn't a welterweight.

I know the flip side to the argument, neither is Mayweather, ok fine well then don't call yourself welterweight champion if you aren't going to fight any of the other champions at 147.

Hatton came into the fight 154. He normally weighs 152-154 as a JR WW. Hagler challenged Hearns, Duran and Leonard and no one complained.

Hatton was the Lineal 140lb champion, two Lineal Champions fighting each other is perfectly fine.

BTW - There wouldn't be any other champion's if Floyd paid for the other sancationing fees.

if baldomir paid the fees pbf would be IBF,WBC and WBA champion although the IBF would've stripped him anyway because he didnt rematch judah...

Not only Mayweather isn't a true Welterweight (and started in a lower division than Hatton), there is other argument in his favour:

For the Mayweather fight (the night of the fight), Hatton weighed the same he does at 140.

Mayweather is the Lineal/Ring Welterweight champion, should hold two belts in that division and can call himself Welterweight champion when he wants to.
