its not floyds age thats keeping him from fighting. its the fact that he would have no way around it, he would have to fight one of the other major ww's. and thats something he doesnt want to do.

Why can/would Cotto beat Mayweather? Technical pressure, underrated timing, educated jab, physical strength, body punching, bottom/top attack, consistency, toughness, underrated speed, ability to cut off the ring, workrate, and toughness. He'd sure as hell put up a better fight than Hatton did, but I don't feel like getting into that much detail now.

Let me just say this, neither figher has face a boxer like the one they would be facing...

Cotto is unflappable inside the ring, he has his plan and back up and a back up...Evangelista and Cotto work very well as i was seen on the SSM fight, he needed to improve his jab and improve he did....

Many elements will go into this fight, this will be a battle of will and who will impossed his will last ...will win...

Not a walk in the park for either...

I strongly beleive that we will see Cotto fighting on his natural left hand stand far more than we have ever seen...now will this be sufficient...well that;s why we will need to watch the fight and see how developed....

I will say this...PBF will be more surprized at Cotto's speed and power than Cotto to PBF speed and power

If you tie one arm behind Floyd Cotto has a good chance, other wise PBF wins hands down.

Throw in some underrated defensive ability- esepcially in boxing mode, and ability to switch from orthodox to southpaw and be effective from both sides, and you've got a pretty formidable challenge. Not saying he beats PBF, but he'll definitely make it interesting and difficult for PBF throughout.

there is a reason he wanted to fight him then and not now. bigger more experienced stronger faster more technically sound . now all of a sudden pbf wants nothing to do with him , hmmm i wonder y. stupid floyd is not.

margo is the slowest WW out there...his stlye would bother pbf at all....he has slow foot speed and has to set those slow feet in order to punch..margarito style plays right into counter punching...shane's stlye would be worst for pbf because of his hand speed
