Why would the ref break up an inside fight again?

    Dumb *****?

The ref only breaks up a clinch, not an inside fight.

But since you *****s actually equate Ward's clinching as inside fighting, I strongly suggest you STFU.

He knocked down Cotto while fighting on the inside, he knocked down JMM while fighting inside.

    You know no ****.

lmao. Inside fight doesn't need a better footwork when you both are hugging to each other but unless of course if you are both dancing in the tune of cha cha or samba.

He can do some good work on the inside, especially when he's using his feet and turning to different angles. He doesn't like like to stay there long. Basically he's never needed a full fledged inside game. That's not his style .

As fighters....you play to your strengths. With PAC's unorthodox style, he's better off poppin' in to rally off quick combos and bounce out to reset. He's a pressure fighter who needs his two weapons free to dissect his opposition. On the inside it's a different kind of fight....a lot of holding, leaning and battling for position. Since PAC is explosive and fast....he can close distance faster than you can blink... PAC can fight on the inside but not like a James Toney or Ward.

Roy Jones couldn't fight on the inside either....he played to his strengths.....being as athletic and fast as Jones was...he could find his mark no problem making it next to impossible for his opponents to close distance and work on the inside.

Ali couldn't fight on the inside as well....he played to his strengths and tied up, every time to ensure the ref would create space so Ali could reset and break his opponent down from the outside by utilizing the jab and footwork to create angles and offensive opportunities. PAC knows his strengths...obviously.

Because he doesn't have to. It's like saying why the klitcko's don't fight on the inside?

Pac's strength is his speed and movement. Why would he give that up that advantage and be up close to his opponents. Make`s no damn sense. You play to your strengths buddy.

    he can fight inside.

watch his old fights when he banged people on the ropes a lot and didn't move in and out so much.

he had damn good uppercuts and great body punches too.

    it's roach.

it's like the same deal with the right hook.

everyone keeps saying pac doesn't have a right hook.

watch his old fights. he swings for the fences with his rights.

when roach got him , roach MADE him a jab-straight fighter.

    to make him less reckless.

to make him less vulnerable to punches he doesn't see.

same thing with not working inside.

he had pac go in and out , in and out so he gets caught less often.

if he made pac into a pressure fighter , pac would have done better against jmm imo.

his in and out style makes him perfect for jmm.

though of course...... pac would have a tougher time with the big boys if he didn't go in and out with the slow , big guys like marg.

Roach trains to his fighters style or ability. Look at Chavez jr. He has been improving every fight since he hook up with roach and his inside game is one of the best in the game. Khan and Pacquiao are speed fighters.
