You seem hell bent on defending Wlad and just trash on Haye at any given moment. How many rights did Wlad throw and land? Im not asking for Wlad to bum rush Haye, just to fight a bit more aggressively and release that great right hand of his. He was too afraid to do it, as Haye was too afraid to take it to Wlad.
Sanders or Brewster didn't seem too concerend with getting knocked out or being leaned on. Haye & Booth's idiotic plan to counter Wlad from the outside was a complete disaster. It was a carbon copy of what Ibragimov tried.
Come on, the way Wlad leans down on his opponents putting all his weight on their backs is illegal and shouldnt be allowed. Im not denying Haye should have been more aggressive but it was a much more competetive fight than the Ibragimov fight.
I think the hate for Haye is clouding peoples judgements. Wlad shouldnt be allowed to lean on opponents, but i think Haye made too much of it too. Saying that, the initial plan did work against Wlad as he was unable to settle throughout the fight, but Haye needed to step it up which he was unable to do. This was down to Haye's lack of skill and courage and Wlads excellent use of distance.
You mean like this? This content is protected And how about this, is this legal? This content is protected
Lewis was leaning on Holyfield like if he was a pack mule. Same in the Tyson fight. When Lennox did it then it was "part of boxing". Wlad does it being taught the same thing by Steward and he should be DQd because "leaning is illegal". Talk about double standards. If Haye doesn't like being held by a 245 lbs man then he should have stayed at CW. He knew what he was in for, just like Tyson and Holyfield knew.
Both are doing wrong and if any boxer uses such tactics they should be penalised, whether your a Lewis or a K!
Oh, my, does it not remind us of a certain recent bout? Paint one of these guys white and you couldn't tell the difference This content is protected
Alright, so where's the outrage against Lewis on these issues? Namely from a certain Lazarus20000... let's see... Not one post about it. But as soon as Klitshko does it - here we go now!
Because this time it is him who would have to secure venue, guarantee 15-20 mil to Wlad stuff like that. Once he does that fight will happen in an instant.
Erm maybe because Lewis is no longer fighting? I actually dislike when fighters use illegal tactics to gain an advantage. Oh and yes, Lewis was wrong to use them too as shown against Holy and Tyson (who i wanted to win btw). I think refs need to come down stronger on boxers when doing these things.
