PBF is now only about the the money and theatrics. The in ring challenge is no longer a priority when making match ups. This of coarse is a moot point now that he's retired but it was his career path for the last few years.

there is NO WAY jones is better than PBF...not in resume not in skill...bhop at least has an argument

    1 mayweather
    2 bhop
3 Joe C when he beats jones

jones got ktfo by tarver then was afraid to engage with him in the 3rd fight and got ktfo by glen johnson...he beat a terrible heavyweight who had no chance ...tito WAY past his prime with a gut...he had great talent it is a shame he would never risk a tough fight til he had to

Retirement is an option in boxing, whenever you feel that you lost the desire you're better off out of the sport or dead in the ring. Hopkins still having the motivation doesn't make him better than Mayweather, it just makes him different in his own way.

Mayweather has accomplished enough already and has the right to retire if he wanted to. Staying in the sport when he doesn't have motivation to satisfy haters who want to see him get KO'd and discredit every win he scores is a waste of time.

no boxer deserves to be called a bum..but why is hatton too small for floyd...he walks around at 180...he just got outclassed not outmuscled...malignaggi will outclass him too

floyd is more secure and doesnt need the money as much as bhop does

Don't insult RJJ and the sport of boxing by saying Gayweather is better than Roy. You f'n ****** ass fanboy *****. At least Jones had the balls to fight Tarver after winning the Heavyweight title...who was the number one guy at 175 at the time! You're ***** ass idol retired instead of giving the fans who made his punk ass rich, the fights they want to see. Floyd would have some losses too if he actually had the balls to fight the best guys out there...ya know..what real champions like Hopkins and Mosely have consistantly done throughout their careers. I don't like to start with the name calling but I'll make an exception for a ****ing moron like you. Oh, by the way, Roy didn't really lose (except for disqualification) until he was what? 35? Floyd is retired at 31 and too f'n scared to fight any of the top welters. I tell you what, when Floyd comes out of retirement and starts beating guys like Margarito and Cotto, than you can start running your mouth but until that time, shut the **** up about Floyd being better than RJJ.

i realise that... and respect his retirement. the thing is as a fan, when rating him against others... i have the right to say, well fighter A retired when his toughest challenges awaited him within his weight class, fighter B, though 43 years old.. lol... is still going after undefeated champions.
