And that should be commended, but Floyd just foughyt an undefeated champ in his last fight. Pavlik came up two divisions for this fight, Ricky came up 1 division.

Again it's a case of personal choice and it all comes down to desire. In boxing when you lose that touch you're better off out of it, even if you still have it but for money and not the will to win then you're in danger as well. It's fair to say that Hopkins is addicted to boxing, the man just doesn't want to leave and wants to keep fighting, that's something he has. Mayweather losing interest doesn't make him a bad fighter, it's his own personal choice. Even if he fought those "tough" challenges you're talking about I doubt he will get any credit for them, it's already given that he will be favored against them all so what's the point exactly?, continue to fight only to get bashed on for winning?, I can see why he lost the desire to continue and don't blame him at all.

Just take a good look at how Hopkins was promoted going into this fight and you'll get my point.

See its mother****ers like you that are funny. Its that clown in you that blinds you to reality. Mayweather did not lose to Williams or would not lose. We are talking Hatton and Mayweather. Mayweather fought half his career at lighter weights then Hatton. Mayweather is no real welterweight. Mayweather Weighs LESS than Hatton on fight not. So your dumb assed comparison is bull****. Only on ****ing ESB does a Bhop win over Pavlik, spin into Calzaghe being the best ever and Floyd and Jones not being **** and underacheivers. Though both acheived more then Calzaghe in there careers by far. You guys are priceless. And pure haters like yourself dont really count for **** anyway.

Welter weight is not floyds weight class. That was his weight class towards the last 3-4 fights of his career. :rofl You would have a point if he was a lifetime welter like Margarito etc etc. Guys who fought 90% of there boxing career at that weight. Floyd has defended a title 9 times before even stepping foot in a ring with welters.

no ****... which is why he shouldnt be mentioned as a welter. i have no problem with him not fighting the best at 147 because like you say, its NOT his weight class, but this 'nobody can challenge him at 147 so he retired the king' is BS that him and his fans spit is what causes the backlash...

Earth to you, no Floyd fans says this. They say he is the best fighter period. Meaning all around, all weight classes. Meaning he was fighting at welter weighing 147-149 on fight night when ALL other welters come in the ring 10 pounds heavier. We say he is the best p4p. He has only been in 3 close fights that were not one sided demolitions. Its the way he won that gained us as fans. The skills he shown that earned the repsect. Not every fighter can move up and be succesful. Ask Margarito. Only those with serious boxing skills. That is what history has shown us.

everything you said there is bull****...

you said SIZE DONT MEAN ****.... because they weighed in the same. Your hollow ass post above is just that... hollow. because you said SIZE DONE MEAN **** when its OBVIOUS hatton cant carry 147 like mayweather (and hes not just shorter smart guy... mayweather also has what... like a SEVEN inch reach advantage?? lol.. wait wait i know, height, reach, size... doesnt mean **** lol) or my bad... i guess thats only for hatton mayweather...

my example was to point out that your statement was ******ed... just because two guys are fighting at the same weight class doesnt make them the same size. If you think hatton is bigger then mayweather... well theres not much that can be said about that. yes, mayweather fought at 130 when he was 18, but as hes matured as an adult... hes a larger fighter then hatton and can carry extra pounds easier then hatton can. That being said... IT DOESNT MATTER IN THE FIRST PLACE... because mayweather is a 140lb fighter as is hatton, so the size argument is mute... i brought it up only to say that pavlik is closer to hopkins size then hatton is mayweathers, hopkins accomplished a lot more beating pavlik then may did in hatton... PERIOD

2nd... dont lump me with those others your trying to cuz i aint one.

All im saying, is i have the right to commend hopkins for what hes doing, and compare that to someone like mayweather, and deduct that hopkins is the man.

:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl WTF are you talking about. So reach means he is bigger. Floyd aint bigger then ****ing hatton. Floyd had the same reach at 130?? WTF is your point. Everybody who has ever seen Floyd says he is a quote "little guy" He is a small ****ing guy. He was a small 140 pound fighter for ****ing christ sake. WTF are you talking about with your hollow ass dumb ass words. Also Mayweather fought at 130 up until the age of 24, again your are ****ing 6 years off and full of lies and bull****. You dont have a mother****ing point. I just poked all kinds of holes in your shitty logic. Pavlik is a 160 pd fighter. Bhop fought 170 and up the last 2-3 years. Again you dont have a ****ing point.

What do you mean be more like Hopkins? Mayweather already runs faster than Bernard he just need to learn how to clinch and hugs more like Bernard does all the 12 rounds so he can make his fights more boring.

I dont sense a bit of bias in this post at all. undefeated hatton certainly was a bum and jumping up to 154 to fight oscar wasnt challenging at all.

He can't carry size like PBF because he doesn't have the skills of PBF.:deal That's why fighters like PBF, RJJ and Hopkins are great they can move up in weight and still dominate despite not being at their best weight. And that's why fighters like Margo and Hatton will always be second rate fighters having to rely on their strength and size to win at a certain weight and aren't as effective when they move up.:deal
