My guy all I hear is excuses if you claim you dicked and anybody from 154-68 you dont duck who would be the best fighter on your resume a guy who destroyed your previous best win in Geale over weight.
What did hopkins do vs Hoya who actual won technically his title at 160 yet wanted a Catchweight GGG was and is a nobody and Cotto was a megastar who could have boosted his crappy ass resume and him you his fans are ok with him ducking for what?

Ward offered GGG 50/50 for a fight after Lemiux or later in the next year said he would wait on going to 175 for GGG and he ducked said Ward wasnt a star and that Lenuix was a PPV even though that fight flopped.. yall need to get serious. WHO cares if you think Lara would lose to GGG the fact is Lara is better than Lemiux,Geale,Wade,Monroe,Murray, Macklin, etc he challenged GGG and hon and his fans quaked and ducked out just like yall making excuses in this thread.

Lara?Trout?Jacobs wasn't prime? Wasnt Mayweather P4P #1 and WBC JMW Champ? Wasnt Cotto Lineal Champ? Didn't yall claim GGG beat Canelo so how he past prime?

Cotto offered to fight GGG at a catchweight between 154-60 like he did Martinez, Geale, and Canelo you wanna know what the difference is they said yes and agreed while GGG said no and his fans made excuses lol hell Cotto has been a Champ and defended his title at a catchweight before and as far as All Time Greatness Cotto is >>>>>>>above GGG so why couldn't GGG fight at say 157 or 158 in 1 fight after claiming 154-60?

Stop d1ck riding bro GGG is a illusion yall wanna talk about close fights EVERY great fighter in history has had close fights but ATLEAST CANELO TAKES THE FIGHTS.. went to 152 for Floyd as a Champ, fought Cotto at 155 upon Cotto request even though that didn't favor either fighter. Moved up for Kovalev and Fielding who had the same title GGG held for 80% of the defenses they like to claim. He took less vs Cotto, even made concession to GGG who is a primadona.. the difference between Canelo and GGG ain't promotion or backing it's that Canelo ain't a b1tch and will take the fights..GGG will make excuses GGG has given up money maybe once to Jacob's and arguably lost that fight. nobody in their right minds wanted to fight Lara in his prime not even GGG yet Canelo fought him all because he talked sh1t in the ring and while I had it a 50/50 fight Lara literally ran the majority of the fight flat out refusing to engage in any type of action which made the fight close. There has never been a running performance I'd seen that bad and I like boxers hell Maywether is my favorite fighter but that was disgraceful.

Canelo-Cotto at 155 for WBC Title, William's-Martinez I at 157 for WBC Title, Hopkins-Hoya at 157 in a WBO/WBA I believe unification, Mayweather-Canelo at 152 in a WBC/WBA unification, Cotto-Pacquiao at 145 for WBO, just a few high profile catchweight title fights from this decade not even reaching back to say Leonard-Ledonde at 168 for 168/75 Titles.... if it was good enough for these Great fighters. Why come yall making excuses for GGG when he's not better or greater than any... GGG struggled vs every top fighter he's fought its only been 2 and a half really..so what makes you so sure any version of him beats Cotto? Cotto is a better boxer with more experience vs a higher quality of fighter and quite honestly GGG in fight 2 got his ass kicked worst than Cotto who was simply outboxed. Cotto was competitive vs Mayweather and Canelo and was winning in his last fight before the arm injury they are also the same age, so to say GGG would run over Cotto when no evidence from either fighters career suggests such is misguided Cotto ain't no Murray or Geale.

Why come triple GGG asked for Mexican style ... only to box off the back foot when he did indeed get it?

So why would those 3 fights I listed be referred to as catchweights?

When you are defending a belt within a weight limit and draining people in the process that is not a full said weight fight.

Was the 160 belt known as the 159,155 and 157 belt in your household when Cotto was defending it?

Only one idiot here, keep on reaching.

He was a way bigger draw than Ward.

What’s the limit of the middleweight division?

You openly support the 155 division no doubt.

    MW is between 154.1-160

    155 is the MW division.

I personally do not like Catchweight fights, but I am also not entirely opposed to them.

You wouldn’t be considering a guy wanted to defend a 160 limit title by draining 160 guys to 155/157 or Canelo winning and defending said title at 155.

Again it’s pathetic that you are arguing.

    ^ Herol II right here.

I can't address an argument that could mean anything.

For example, it seems to me that he's making a case that Golovkin ducked Cotto whereas its a fact that Cotto agreed to almost a million dollars step aside fee to GGG NOT TO FIGHT HIM. I'm not even sure that is what this acie is saying, though.

Because he made Canelo come forward and blasted him with power punches all night long, as opposed to having to chase ginger down like the Boston marathon.

Wtf is a 160 limit title?

    MW is 154.1-160
Again, I don't like catchweight for title fights, but in some cases it's not too bad so as long as neither fighter is significantly handicapped.

In Golovkin's case 154 or 155 shouldn't have been a big issue according to him since he was saying he'd fight anyone between 154-168 between 2013-2017.

You'd have to be as stupid as iSalty to fight a guy at 155 when you are the mandatory contender and can force the fight at 160.

Golovkin's biggest error was agreeing to allow Cotto to duck him and pay a step aside fee.

He should have enforced the mando, demanded 160, and taken his belt, by force or by Cotto vacating as Canelo did.
